because people are close minded and don't have anything else to come back to them with, so they are ignorant and say they are racist, wanting to protect our borders is NOT racist, people are so stupid! they are actually the ones being racist because they think if a white American is trying to protect there borders it must be a racist issue, these people are idiots

A Napa resident who has patrolled the California-Mexico border as part of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps gave a talk to a supportive crowd of Republican Party members this week, describing his experience on the frontier and explaining how he became so active on an issue that is spurring debate around the country.
John Clark, 37, said when he visited the border, he saw "coyotes" smuggling people, criminals smuggling drugs and even armed bandits on all-terrain vehicles who prey on immigrants. He said that with the chaos, U.S. Border Patrol agents are happy to have the Minutemen on the scene.
"It looks like the wild west out there," he said. "It's crazy."
The Minute Men is defiantly not a racist group, its made up of people that truly care about this country. They are not uneducated ,gun crazy yokels. They are doctors, lawyers, business owners, blue collar and white collar, farmers and ranchers. They are men and women that love this country.Any one that says differently doesn't know what they are talking about.I am about as far from being a racists as you can get,and I joined the Arizona chapter and I am very impressed with the members..They
are, white, black, brown, yellow and all colors in between.
Race is never mentioned by any one and they actively screen all prospective members including a back ground check to weed out any racists that try to join.
I can tell you positively that the Minute Men are neither mindless vigilantes or racists.
The Minute Men were started in Arizona, not on our northern border. It was started to address the problem of illegal immigrants from the southern border ,because that is the illegal that is affecting Arizona. The chapters have spread to different parts of the country but it began in AZ.

Because that way people will not look at what they are doing which is caching CRIMINALS. It gets turned around to they are racist. Oh course if you called the Police on people breaking the law in your area would you be called racist? Of course no. So that is peoples argument to allow Criminals here. If you are against Criminals you must be racist.

They claim racism to draw away from the fact that they are coming into this country illegally. Trying to make others look bad so they will look like the ones who are being mistreated. When in fact if they were not braking the law to start with then there would be no need for the Minutemen. It is because of them the Minutemen exist.

From the Southern Poverty Law Center Intelligence Project
Nazis, racists join Minuteman Project
Two Minuteman Project volunteers — men who described themselves as members of the neo-Nazi National Alliance — pose near the Mexican border with a handmade sign bearing an image identical to that on Alliance pamphlets and billboards.
The men told fellow volunteers that a total of at least six Alliance members had joined the Minuteman effort in order to recruit new Alliance members and to learn where to conduct their own "Mexican hunts" once media attention flagged.
DOUGLAS, Ariz. | April 22, 2005 -- For months, Jim Gilchrist promised that his Minuteman Project would peacefully observe the Arizona border as a protest against illegal immigration. Volunteers — he said there would be 1,300 of them — would be carefully screened, with FBI help, to keep out white supremacists and racists. No one would be allowed to bear guns except those who had permits to carry concealed weapons.
Gilchrist said that critics who called his group "vigilantes" — naysayers who included President Bush — were absolutely wrong about his volunteers.
Indeed, Gilchrist told USA Today, these men and women sought only to bring attention to a major social problem. Most were "white Martin Luther Kings."
Maybe so. But Gilchrist's accuracy has been less than sterling.
As the month-long April project started, some 300 volunteers showed up — a thousand fewer than predicted. An FBI official denied that the agency was screening Gilchrist's or any other private group's members. At least four-fifths of volunteers did carry weapons, and almost none were checked for permits. Racist talk abounded. And at least some neo-Nazis and other racists did join in Gilchrist's project."
This is why some of us refer to them as racist.

I am not illegal.I am an american. And I don't have anything personal against these minutemen.BUT,one question.1)Why do they only patrol the mexico/america border if they are against ALL illegals? You don't hear of them at the canadian border or patroling the ocean front for boats carrying illegals.
There is no race card here.I just find it funny that they put majority effort into the mexican border. There are more illegals here besides mexicans.

Criminals will use any thing they can including lies (how many in prison walk around saying they commit they crime) to try to manipulate their case. It is easier to slander and lie than to accept the truth, MOST Americans do not want Illegal Immigrants in the country. Simple truth. Now you watch, someone will call me racists just for telling the truth.

The thing I have a problem with the Minutemen is not only that they ONLY target Mexicans and not say Asians, but that they are allowed to carry guns while "hunting" Mexicans. I mean c'mon.....would they do that along the Canadian border? Of course, not so why are they allowed to pack heat in public and isn't that against that law?? I mean we're not living the Wild Wild West are we??

They use the word 'racist' to get what they want, which is a free ride in the US. They've been taking lessons from the blacks on what happens after you shout 'racist'......eventually, you'll get everything you want, including fake respect from whites.
