Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that most Americans are complete idiots when it comes to politics and presidential candidates. All you hear is how George Bush raises gas prices, gives tax breaks to big business, wants to drill in the Alaskan wildlife reserve, losing the war on terrorism, etc. etc. People nowadays believe what they see on the liberal news, read in liberal newspapers and such. People don't even know what the Republican party stands for, as it is highly demonized by the media and immoral minority groups. They do not understand that democrats want to RAISE your taxes signifigantly, and spend your money on total worthless crap that does not benefit our country, yet for some reason, I always hear Bush being blamed for taxes and inflation. I mean he only cut taxes by 25% But thats something you don't hear everyday. I think people should be able to pass a series of political tests before being able to vote, and I assure you, that republicans would come out on top!

You're totally right! If you'll notice, Libs don't have any solutions just personal attacks, and unfounded claims. Honestly, I think it's going to be a long time, if ever, before Libs are in control again. Look at "answerman". He's a prime example of the child like, name calling mentality the Libs have. But trust me, Americans are sick of them, and Libs like "answerman" are the gifts that just keep on giving to the Republicans, so it's not entirely a bad thing ;)

Yes. the fewer people that vote, the more republicans that win. Some studies show that if voting were held on saturday that the GOP would lose at least 1/2 their seats in the house and senate.

Think about this, there are 45 Million americans without health insurance. Obviously if they voted the entire country would be different.

The "series of political tests" idea is totally offensive. ANYONE WHO PAYS TAXES AND IS A CITIZEN has the right to vote, and they have the right to any help they need to cast their vote. That is why we are not british citizens anymore.

Republicans say they love freedom but you would be surprised how many would agree with your freedom-killing suggestion of a "poll test".

I do my own taxes. Bush didn't cut taxes 25%. But if you are rich, Bush and the Republicans have given away hundreds of thousands to you. Money that will not be going to pay for the war which the Repubicans think is so important that the very survival of our nation is at stake.

You think a series of political tests would make things easier for Republicans? You only have to look at Florida during the 2000 election to see how stupid that would be. Republican voters in Florida had a hard time even choosing which dot to enter on a two person ballot. He cut taxes by %25 but you know what? This country RUNS on taxes and the more taxes he cuts from the federal budget mean the less money in Social Security, the less money in Medicare, and countless other governmental programs that he claims to "help". Spend money on worthless crap that dosen't help the country? No Child Left Behind? Dubai Ports Deal? Not to mention several indicted republicans on bad money issues. This is pathetic

What's the matter....can't handle victory. You are hardly the underdog here. If you want to believe that because huge tax cuts for the wealthy averages out to a 25% cut for everyone that's fine. If you want to redefine democracy to mean that everyone must think like you or suffer the consequences, that's fine. Just try to disguise your pseudo-questions a bit better so it doesn't sound like a big whine. What you really need is some kind of theocracy where the President is just like some kind of Mullah that decrees what people are supposed to think....something like George Orwell's 1984.......shoot you're almost there anyway. So...quit whining!

You are the idiot, if you believe all of that. Not much truth in anything that you have said in this rant and no every legal age citizen in this country should have the opportunity to vote regardless if they are idiot repuglicans or not.
