I have thought about moving to Canada, I have a lot of family there, and I visit often. Canada is basically the same as the U.S. so I would consider moving there as I wouldn't feel like I've moved some other planet. But I'm good here in North Carolina.
As for Australia, that's just too far for me. I wouldn't want to go there, and they have big spiders there!!!!
You should condsider though, no were in this world is safe anymore. Just because the government of a certain country is lax or neutral on things doesn't mean there safe from the dangers of this world.

Those who aren't gratefull for the things we have here in American should most definitely move somewhere else. There is a reason why people from all over the world want to move here and I'm sure they will gladly take your spot. There is a reason why there are lists years and years long of people who would give anything to live here and experience the freedoms we have. Canada has it easy because they know that nobody is going to mess with them because they are so close to us. Terrorist are everywhere and kill without conscience. If you think for one minute that if you leave them alone they will leave you alone you are sadly mistaken. Unfortunately all nations are going to experience some sort of terrorists acts against them and who do you think they are going to call when it does? Who is the first person any country calls when something bad happens to them? Us. There is a reason for that. With power comes with responsibilty. As the most powerfull country in the world people look to us when they can't handle everything themselves. I am personally very proud to be from a nation who realizes our abilities to help others. The world would be in way worse shape than it is now if we decided to turn blind eye to everything else going on.

I never think about that. I think poorly of people who do though.
Austrailia and Canada are more liberal socialist countries also.
The US fighting actually helps preserve the peace for those countries aswell. Austrailia has troops in Afghanistan and East Timor. Canada also has troops in Afghanistan. Someone has to fight, there has never been and will never be a time when fighting will be completely unnecessary.

What makes you think either of them is more peaceful? Don't you watch the news? The crazy Islamists are everywhere. No place is peaceful or safe any more.
