I have yet to meet a republican who is also an atheist.

There are a few.
The Republican Party is largely controlled by a blood-sucking parasite by the name of Jerry Falwell,and its part of the reason I or anyone with any dignity,has left it.

They do exist. Republican is a political label, just like Democrat. There are Christian Democrats, so why not atheist Republicans. Politics and religion can exist in mutual exclusivity.

I actually have a friend who is an atheist and was once a Republican. It happens... it's very rare, but it happens.

They are rare, but the do exist.
Contrary to popular opinion, Republican is a political party -- not a race, a religion, an income tax bracket, or a social caste.

Doesn't mean they don't exist. A republican is seperate from religion as its a political party and not a religious one. There probably are some aethist republicans out there, all it means is they are conservative and their views line up with the republican party.

There are alot of people that pretend they are christians but their actions prove otherwise.Do you think that alot of the actions by our govt. are very christian?Wanting to change the Geneva convention so we can use more inhumane tortures and take away peoples right to a trial?Turning a way from the poor and middle class, just look at New Orleans.I know alot of Democrats that are Christians, it's to be seperate,church and state.

GOP is made up of all kinds of people..
Some religious some not.
Some normal, some not.
religious ones tend to be more vocal.
Not necessarily rightwing ish either.

There are no absolutes....I have met Gay republicans, Black republicans, Hispanic republicans rich republicans and poor republicans along with republicans of all religions.

There are many Agnostic Conservatves and I have met some Athiest Conservatives.
But your assumption is correct, most Athiests are Liberal.
