One of two things would actually happen.
1. US planes would shoot down the Israeli planes over Iraq. Then a political issue between USA and Israel and global support of the USA.
2. Once again the AIPAC would flex it's control over our government and the US would blindly support Israel....WWIII

depends.
Remmeber, Israel knocked out IRAQS nuke options back in the 80's... and did same with other countries that were likely to someday go after Israel.
Not likely, IRAN is too big for anything but a a total nuclear strike.
Which Israel can do even if IRAN wipes them out.

Things would get ugly. The first one to launch a nuclear attack, which would threaten Iran's neighbors with the fallout, China, India and Russia, all of which have their own nukes, would be annihilated,either by nuclear strike or conventional weapons.
It would not be in Israel's best interest.

Its happened before Israel destroyed Saddam Hussein's reactor in Baghdad in an air raid in June 1981.

Israel would be wrong.
Iran's nuclear program is for energy only, and is quite oeaceful. It's just Bush and his cohorts trying to build an excuse for an attack in order to take control of Iranian oil. Nuclear energy is just a red herring.

It would be a blessing to the world.
A lot of people would die, but not as much as if the Iran succeeds in making its nuclear bomb.

They tried this a long time ago. Iran has now rebuilt and their nuclear development facilities are distributed over 1600 sites and many of them are buried deep in the ground.

that might only happen if Israel got solid intel that an incoming
strike of large proportion were imminent
in that case I don't blame them at all for defending their country
whatever happens after that is anybodies guess
