ok i'm a marine & i would like to know why we can't just use a nuke on anyone or any country. I think we should send them all a message every way possible that no matter race religion color or creed if u can't get along with everyone its over. some how using nukes is socialy and moraly unexeptable but it is acceptable to let our country men carry an m16 and go to forign lands and die for the right to be free why do our ppl have to die to correct there mistakes police your own. now ur probobly gona come back with thats harsh or someone would abuse that power well precautions could be put into place for that its ok for us to go die to correct there mistakes i think that is bullshit (marine life expectancy for building incertion 0) not that i'm scared of death or don't wanna fight for my country but this all is starting to seem really pointless

Especially in a crowd filled with people of different ages. I am a freshman now, and I used to remember in elementary school, my school would get together in the auditorium, and we would have a moment of scilence, and then the principle would talk about how the school is made to be a very safe school and that if we ever need someone to turn to, we have our friends and staff members. Then, the principle would end the assembly with a book reading of The Big Bad Pig and The Three Little Wolves, a story of making peace. What do you think is the most appropriate way to remember 9/11?

The first time i got caught shoplifting was 3 years ago. Just recently, I decided to steal a can of soda from a grocery store. I had a bag of groceries I had already bought, and put the can of soda in the bag. A plain clothes cop caught me. It's been about 2 weeks, now, and I haven't gotten anything in the mail. I'm still a minor.

Will I now have a felony? Will I need to hire a lawyer? What do I do? Will this go away when I'm 18?

I didn't steal during those 3 years at all. After I had paid for all my groceries, I figured that I wanted a soda, and didn't want to wait in line again, so I took one. I had thought about it before I did it and I was really nervous about it, but I didn't want to wait in line because I was short on time, so I decided to do it. It was a stupid decision.

My husband and I live in FL. and we gained custody of my husband's 3 children from a previous marriage, due to the mother putting them around a man who was a potential danger to them. They have lived with us for well over a year now and my husband and I have a child together as well. My husband is in the military and he recently received orders for us to move to Japan. The mother can take us back to court now and try to regain custody of the children due to them move. The mother lives in GA. and only has visitation with them, my husband has full custody. Will the courts split up my family? They have lived with their half brother since he was 3 months old. Does this play a factor in the judge's decision for maybe not changing custody again back to her? Please do not respond, go to the JAG office on the base. The JAG office mainly just gives out information on Wills, etc. and we have been down that road already. Please help.

SHÂN ROSS AND MICHAEL HOWIE; Scotsman 10th Sept 2006
'Scottish Justice in the dock following attack on walker'

'AN URGENT investigation was last night demanded into why one of Scotland's most violent criminals was released early from prison weeks before carrying out a horrific attack that left an American tourist in a coma.

Colin Ross, a self-confessed woman-hater, yesterday admitted attacking Marty Layman-Mendonca, 57, a teacher from Vermont, with an iron bar near Inverness on 5 July.

The attack occurred less than a month after Ross, 34, was released early from a three-year sentence for attacking a female holidaymaker from Germany.'

If we mass-deport all our illegals, imagine how the rest of the world and the media will see that. The generous U.S. shipping out these ragged, poor people just because they don't know how to become citizens. We all would be severely mocked. "The most powerful country on earth beaten by some Mexican immigrants." I can see the headlines now.

Why do liberals, who are guilty as sin of inciting racial tension, always blame conservatives and bait topics with liberal hate speech?

Just by supressing the term Civil War, we cannot keep our head in the sand while our young men sacrifice their lives. Iraq is history now...and do not repeat Churchill. Churchill was ashamed of it and admitted his mistake. We know Churchill is your hero, but you need not repeat the errors of the hero.

What are your general thoughts about it? Should stem cell research be funded by the government - is there even enough known about it right now to call for government funding? Is it ethical?

Just interested in hearing your thoughts. :)

I was involved in a bar fight and I was charged with a felony, the guy struck me and I struck him with a glass, unintentional. It was just reduced to a misdemeanor and I have not been convicted yet, I am going to fight it in court. The guy is suing me. Unfortunately I am also applying for jobs (high corporate jobs) does the arrest and the pending misdemeanor/lawsuit show up in my employee HR check? I have not been convicted yet. Does this mistake lead to pain the rest of my life with employees. One place it does appear is in https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/webcrim_attorney/AttorneySearchCase
And it appears as a felony with physical assault. They have not changed it to a misdemeanor.
