Do I think it should stop? Of course. Once both sides recognize the right of the other to exist. Look, as long as the Palestinians and their allies stay on the path of violence nobody will even listen to them. And as long as Israel and it's allies line up lockstep and say "Israel can defend itself however it sees fit" they will be called oppressors and occupiers.
But let's get one thing strait. When the modern conflict started way back in the early 40s the UN came up with a two-state plan. The Jewish (read Israeli) settlers accepted the plan while the Arab (read Palestinians, NOT NECESSARILY Muslim) settlers refused. Once the British left it was the Arab states (Trans-Jordon, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia) that attacked first. And the two UN brokered cease fires at the time were broken by the Arab nations as well. Now, 60 years after they lost, they want a return to the pre-1948 borders.
Yes, Israel's theft of Palestinian land and property is regrettable. And yes, the murder of Israeli civilians in retaliation is regrettable. I'm not saying everyone should hug and it'd be ok, but if they would both shut up for a second and look at what heartaches they've caused the other sides maybe they'll figure it out.

It will never stop until one side or the other is totally defeated. Remember, Israel was a country long before the Palestinians came to Palestine...at least for several thousand years. Can the two religions live in peace? Even though they are the same in many respects, the Islamists are converters to their religion and the Jews are not. The Islamic code is to convert the world to Islam one way or another. Judge for your self.

I believe it should stop. Both nations, Palestinians and Israeil, came so close to peace but horrific events happened.
1) Hamas gained control of Palestinians

I believe it will stop if the goddamn arabs quit attacking Israel. Israel has no designs on arab land or oil, so all the towel heads have to do is stop shooting and this thing will stop. It's as simple as that.
