Especially in a crowd filled with people of different ages. I am a freshman now, and I used to remember in elementary school, my school would get together in the auditorium, and we would have a moment of scilence, and then the principle would talk about how the school is made to be a very safe school and that if we ever need someone to turn to, we have our friends and staff members. Then, the principle would end the assembly with a book reading of The Big Bad Pig and The Three Little Wolves, a story of making peace. What do you think is the most appropriate way to remember 9/11?

I know some people say "Why would you want to remember it?" or "Forget about it!" I can forget about it, since it hasn't impacted me, but there were many people who died, and many who were affected.
I could only have been badly affected because my friend was living in New York for half a year and on that very day. She could have visited in the tower is she wanted to, but she didn't, so I'm grateful for that.
I agree with a lot of people, have moments of silence, but you can't forget it entirely. It is history, true, but people still talk about it often.
I hardly ever talk about it, but since a lot of people are, I just thought I would make a question here on Yahoo Answers just to see people's opinions. I just do what everyone else does. My school makes us all have the moment of silence, I guess you can say that's the most polite and respectful thing to do.

Yeah. People need to move on in life, but they can also keep in minds those that meant so much to them. The innocent spirits will live on forever.
