What was the process you went through to get to America? I hear there is a interveiw in Toronto. What was that like?
What about the medical? Is the medical in Toronto? Montreal? Could you use your own doctor?

I was born in a Democratic home. I work in a mostly Republican setting. I went to school in a conservative private school with mostly Republicans.

My question is, why do Republicans sicken me? I actually am a quite conservative person myself, but why do republicans just turn me off? I can't pinpoint the logic behind my feelings because like I said, I believe most of the moral concepts they believe. Why am I not a gung-ho republican then?

These stops are basically road blocks in which several police cars are pulling over multiple vehicles and subjucting them to checking the proper functioning of all lights as well as checking the driver for warrants and other wrong-doings. How is this legal?

I met a man in France some years ago who told me he had dual citizenship in the US, but that the US would not allow him to keep dual citizenship past the age of 18. He said France had no problem with it, though. I assumed he was telling the truth, but now I wonder - does anyone know the US's attitude on dual citizenship? A reference would be nice.

I still don't think that he would have, really, wanted that to happen during his presidency.

Too much to deal with. He wouldn't have wanted to deal with the problems while he was busy ripping the country off.

He just took advantage of the situation afterward to get reelected by scaring us with terror and war , kinda the "you can't make it without me slogan."

His rhetoric caused the weapons contractors to push him into war with promises of under the counter payments. Just like they all get. You know they do.

They are incapable of thinking rationally........and they would honestly consider something as superficial and shallow as LOOKS in an election!

I have thought for a long time now, and i still cannot find an answering to my puzzling mind problem. Im a proud navy wife, and while my husband is currently deployed, before he arrive home, I, along with our two boys will be moving 5 states away. My family could give two shits less about me and there grandkids moving, but his family is being so very helpful.

My own mother told me that she will not take time off of work to travel to our new home since it was MY decision to marry him, and since I knew what i was marrying into.

What is the shity attitude from my family for? And why is his family, whom i hardly know, willing to help out and care more then my own?

I found out only today and i consider myself fairly knowledgeable in world affairs.

Why are so many Americans misinformed and FOLLOW exactly what their Administration and commercial media tell them?

I am asking this because some person asked whether or not America is a 'fascist state' and some other person answered 'move to Iran' 'Terrorist'.

Since when did Iran become a 'terrorist' country? and why are SO many Americans very ignorant?

I am living in Los Angeles. A fruit distributor rents a warehouse that is next to my apartment. The fruit and vegetable have been perished and that distributor did not clean or take care the trash. After a few days, everyone in the apartment smelled and the trash is very stink. I want to know what I should do. I have tried Dept of Public Health in LA, but no use. Im looking at military poems on the internet, and im thinking about and missing my husband. its making me cry. i keep telling myself ive only got 2 more months to go. anyone got anything encouraging to say that might cheer me up?

I was hotwiring my own car, and a cop came and punched me in my face and pulled me out of my own car when he saw this, he apologized like a wildman afterwards but I don't think he meant it.
