Americans don't need a test to show "How good of an American they are"
The test is designed (if these are real questions from the test, I don't know, never took it) to see if people who are attempting to become US Citizens understand what they are trying to achieve. All the information in these questions would take all of 5 minutes to research, and US Government is a class that all High School Seniors had to take when I graduated. It's hard enough to get Americans to the voting booths and there are people willing to die to get into the country and become citizens so they can earn the rights that many Americans take for granted. I know many that do not vote, yet someone else in another country is dieing for that very same right.

Yes I can answer these, but no, this isn't a citizenship test (insofar as most citizens are citizens by birth).
You might note that number 11 gives away number 4. Further, number 14 is worded ambiguously. Number 15 also is open to multiple interpretations. Finally, number 16 definitely seems to ask for an opinion rather than a fact.

I have a query about Question 16.
Isn't that more of an opinion than a factual question?
Some would say the right to vote; others would say freedom of speech. Certainly others would advocate the right to bear arms.
All of these are proper answers, but what is the test answer, please?
[Overall, I did well, but I got stopped at Number three. I know what their duties are, but do they actually do them?]

I can't answer #5. No clue.
I'd be blatantly guessing on #13, though I can quote large sections of the document.
And #16 is highly debatable as to which is "most important".

Didn't you forget what qulifications you need to be President. After last two elections was shaky on that answer. And only had faint guess how many Representatives there are. Does eight pass.

I actually had to take that test to get my citizenship. They didn't ask all of the questions but they did ask five or six of them. I passed. BTW I know many American born people that cannot answer any of those questions but they can name the entire cast of Desperate Housewives!
