Is providing for ones family a Justifiable reason to break the Law? What crimes are acceptable if this is OK? Seriuously. If we say its OK to Break the law to Provide for your family. Would a Drug dealer be able to get the ACLU to take there case and pleed they were only selling drugs to get money for food. What's the Cut Off. Who makes that decision?

at a social gathering the other night when we were in a good conversation and the topic of politics came up people start acting like they are so perfect.thay cause this big commotion and then they look like stupid idipts when someone tells them the truth. they are complaining that we are at war but when ssomeone asks them if whether they want the war to be fought over there in the middle east or if they want the war to be fought in the United States they look like fools.

If someone brutally murders 15 people, you can only hang them once. Is it unjust to put a person through only a fraction of the suffering that they wrongly inflicted on others? Or is this the civilized way of doing things? I don't know because I'm not particularly fair and I would make a horrible judge.

Furthermore, IS there a punishment that we are capable of imposing, that would inflict the morally just amount of suffering?

#1 Nasrallah IS STILL ALIVE.

#2 Israel killed over 1000 Lebanese - BUT Hezbollah is still alive and well - their soldiers are doing calistenics right now.

#3 Israel basically flattened all of Southern Lebanon and couldn't stop Hezbollah.

#4 When the LEbanese people who lost out in the war get back on their feet, the Anti-semitism and terrorist recruitment there is going to make IRAQ look like an hour long stay in a Jehova Witness Hall.

#5 Public opinion worldwide is STRONGLY anti-Israel

#6 Iran is STILL prepping its nuclear reactor. I'd say within 10 years, Israel will be on the recieving end of a nuclear rocket.

#7 Hezbollah has promised to help rebuild Lebanon's bombed areas and pledged money to people hurt by the war
(sometrhing BUSH hasn't even done for New Yorkers. rather, he's drivin the cost of living through the roof and made college almost unnafordable by slashing pell grants - WHICH HE LIED ABOUT since he claimed he would give them more funding)

How would you feel about a modified electoral college for the U.S. Presidency?

This system would designate that the total electoral votes for your state be divided up by percentages (for instance, if 40% republican, 40% democrat, 20% other parties, the electors would be divided up the same way).

What would you think about that idea?

Nebraska has the distinction of having only a unicameral legislature at the state level; not the separate senate and house of representatives that the other states have. They also have part time legislators at the state level.
Do you feel that this would work in your state. Think about these advantages. Only one bill instead of separate bills and negotiations between the two houses. Decisions can be made more quickly.
What about your state? Would you support that type of legislature in your state?

(Please list your state and your thoughts on this issue).

Thanks!

The intention of No Child Left Behind was to ensure that every student would be able to read at grade level. But there are some serious flaws, such as the requirements for a severely mentally handicapped student to be required to pass the tests at grade level. If the school fails to improve its status (known as Adequate Yearly Progress), the school can lose accredidation and funding.

Let's assume we cannot get rid of this system. If you had the power to change this program. How would you change it.

If you feel more funding is the answer, what should the funds be used for?
