What is wrong with being on the side of social justice?Even the term, liberal, why be vague about it?This hessitation on your part leads to defeat
Any time the right wing in America has the power they push the center of politics to the rirght. You should push it back but I feel, even now when you're sure you're gonna win, that you are almost appollogising for your ideas.Stand up for one time. The world needs an American left side.Democracy requieres a strong left side.

This is a link to an article written by a Liberal Anti-War Democrat. He says hatred has now crossed the isle and Democrats are getting as bad as McCarthy was. Can't we all open our eyes and see that that is not going to win us the election in 2008? Stop the hatred!

How can you people still support this criminal. Seriously, The Supreme Court finds him in violation of the Geneva Conventions and the war crimes law, so what does this crook do? He moves to amend the laws so he can keep breaking them!

He was beaten in the Democratic primary in Connecticut, so he's going to run as an independent. In 2004, he ran as both a senator (just in case) and a vice president. To me, this is someone who is more interested in retaining power than serving people or the people in his state. And therefore, he deserved what he got.

What's your opinion about him?

Do you people not realize that almost all the politicians are corrupt and take bribes and money for things they are not supposed to? Or do you just turn a blind eye when it is your guy? Neither party is any better than the other. The political parties in America is out of control and all you die-hards are only making it worse. If it weren't for political parties, the government might actually be able to get something done. Its funny how devisive political parties are, especially when government is supposed to be a place where people come together to solve problems. Agree?

At a time when ex-conservatives are piling up and the Democrats are poised to make gains this year in the House and Senate, the neo-cons are sweating. They've figured out they cannot ride on Bush's fanatsy of a neo-con uptopia forever, so more than once around here I and other non-conservatives have been lied about in questions, even impersonated.

I thought conseravtives had more class than that,if not all this alleged information to go on to state their case, but I guess I was wrong. As a proud American,WHY would someone who "liberally" uses words like "babykiller" to describe Americans who think the government should stay out of private hospitals accuse others of "hating" their country.

Remember the term "Moral Values"?
Remember"Thou Shalt Not Lie"?
Us Liberals LOVE our country.Get it right.

Are they THAT desperate? It sure looks it.

He has property and a business in Haiti. I don't/wouldn't want it all (he has kids) but I would like to claim what is entitled to me if something should happen to him. What do I need to do to let/notify the Haitian government know that I am his wife and that I am entitled to receive benefits?

The USA is really scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as military is concerned and we've gone too deep to withdrawal because as Americans our government will be too arrogant and asinine to admit its mistakes and call it a day. But even if they do suddenly develop brains, we will need to find a way to supply a military to Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and our own borders and ports to insure our safety. No one is going to make quota as far as enlistment is concerned and someone in the government is going to come to the realization that our military is not going to function on a voluntary service... Tell me what ya think!

Local Resident Receiving Mysterious Threats — (08/06/2006)

Crawford- One local resident is fearful for her family's safety, after alleged threats from a supposed anti-war demonstrator.

After news of protestor Cindy Sheehan's purchase of property near President Bush's ranch, Tracy Thiele gave an interview to News Channel 25. The interview was later broadcast on a segment ABC's Good Morning America. That's when the trouble all began.

"About seven times in a row, I have gotten threatening phone calls against me and my family," said Thiele. "The caller knew where Crawford was, she knew where I lived. She said be on my doorstep the next morning to take care of me. Stuff like that."

Thiele lives just doors away from Sheehan's new property, where Camp Casey III is being erected. Both Crawford Police and the McLennan County Sheriff's Office are investigating the incident. Thiele and her family are not waiting for Sheehan's arrival in Crawford, but rather her departure at the end of August

I was walking home across a housing estate, it was just getting dark and I heard a woman shouting 'Help Help'. I ran to were she was on a small patch of grass and a youth aged around 20 had stopped on his bike and was violently trying to grab this ladys handbag off of her. I could see clearly that the woman was in in danger and she has blood on her face (He had punched her in th face before I had arrived). Without thinking I ran at him and pulldozed him to the ground (I didnt know at the time but he fractures his rist when he went over). I grabbed him and gave to the woman my mobile phone to call the police. I held him there for a few minutes until police arrived (Being called every name under the sun by him of course). When the police arrived he was arrested and put into a cop car. The police and lady thanked me repeatedly. The police got into the car...and then a few minutes later they got back out and told me that I was under arrest for assault as the man said he's pressing charges

Why do they maintain delusional thoughts that Bill Clinton was a great president and that those were 8 great years?

Is this what they refer to when they say he was great?
Signed NAFTA, leading to the exploitation of Latin American workers, and loss of millions of manufacturing jobs. Only beneficiaries have been big business. I thought Libs hate big business, but Clinton didn't, so were is the consistency?

Internet bubble - a speculative and irrational stock market were the beneficiaries were M&A concerns, banks, brokers, and company insiders. Why didn't Clinton do anything about it, or the Fed? Instead, the Fed kept lowering rates, feeding the frenzy

Sent us on an illegal war in the Balkans - I thought libs were for exhausting Diplomacy until all of the people are dead, in which case they can congratulate each other on what a great job they did

Did nothing after WTC1
nothing after Cole bombing
nothing after Saudi Tower bombing
nothing in Somalia

Not to go into the anti or pro Bush issue. There's just something in particular President Bush said one time, and I saw it in a "Bush-ism" list somewhere and can't find it. Can't remember what it was exactly he said.
