Do you people not realize that almost all the politicians are corrupt and take bribes and money for things they are not supposed to? Or do you just turn a blind eye when it is your guy? Neither party is any better than the other. The political parties in America is out of control and all you die-hards are only making it worse. If it weren't for political parties, the government might actually be able to get something done. Its funny how devisive political parties are, especially when government is supposed to be a place where people come together to solve problems. Agree?

It really has little to do with Washington the true blue State Red State battle is a gang turf war.

The Redpublicans stand for middle America and the Smurfs are for the coasts. No one really cares about the hot-button issues like murdering your baby. Most good right wing Baptist girls get abortions then go right back to protesting blue baby death. (Call it the red secret)

America never finished the Civil War. There are issues that were never resolved. These issues are being played out with Red State Blue State wars.

Mean while life goes on. As a black man I favor money I will vote for the money and hopefully I will make more money. I don't care which group of lying politicians has the majority an long as I get money.

The war economy suites me just fine. The bigger the war the bigger the profits

yeah they do. The good of the country is gone - it is all about the party, money and power and keeping and expanding it. It is really a sad time in our history. We have people around the world who have declared war on us, and we can't even agree that we have an enemy.

Whatever one party says, the other says the opposite. It may be time for Texas anyway to think about going back to being the great Republic of Texas.

You are half right. No political party is perfect. We have a representative democracy in this country. The government has worked fairly well for a few hundred years at making America one great country. We formed "party's" to support individuals in their effort to get votes enough to be elected. In the past fifty years it has become more and more expensive to run for office. Thirty years ago it was said you'd have to be a millionaire to run, or have one in your pocket.

Both sides have their share of criminals in their ranks, but the party in power always gets the brunt of the attack.

Don't you remember Clinton dealing with the Lewinsky witch hunt?

Now it's Bush's turn. Only concerning things slightly more important than extramarital sex.

After yelling at each other all day, most members of congress go out to the bars and get drunk together.

Most definitly, wouldn't it be great if they had to run on their own individual merits rather than one grand agenda written by big business?
