Does anyone know what the legalities of being nude in your own back yard are, if you have a wooden panel fence?
I'm guessing it's different depending on local laws. I'm in Pasco county, Florida

i belive it depends on your town laws, however if you own the property and it is fenced to the point that unless someone is LOOKING they cant see over i cant see why it would be a problem...

Supposedly, if someone else can see you without making an effort to see you, then it's illegal. If they have to make an effort to see you, then they have the choice and it's not illegal. At least that's how it was explained to me in Ohio. I was passing from bathroom to bedroom and a neighbor saw me nude and called the police. I was home alone and the window was at the side of my house. The neighbor refused to drop the charges, but the judge said that it was my home, and that the neighbor could have looked away at any time, so I was not doing anything illegal. I asked the judge about back yards, swimming pools, etc, and this is what he told me.

Several years ago, there was a case in Florida where a couple was charged with several different crimes because a neighbor child witnessed them having sex in their own bedroom. The blinds were partially open, and the couple didn't intend for anyone to see them. But someone did. And they were charged with indecent exposure and other charges. I would be very careful what you chose to do. If you can't be certain no one will see you, I wouldn't go outside in by Birthday suit.

if you are in your own backyard and being nude it is ok, as long as nobody can see you take for example a building beside your house where an onlooker can see you naked, for in some other other places, one can be charged with Grave Scandal, so i would just suggest that just look at the laws of Florida to make you aware if you are violating any law, happy sun bathing!

these people start getting busy in a room upstairs (they are right in back of my house)... the girl is sitting on the window naked and the guy is banging her!! they were loud obviously drunk.. and everyone can see that ****... nasty nasty...no one called the cops but i believe you can get in trouble??

NUDITY IN BACKYARD SHOULD ACTUALLY HAVE NO PROBLEM IT THE AREA IS COMPLETELY FENCED. AND IF NOT THEN ALSO I GUESS IT SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM AS IF PEOPLE CAN SEE ACTORS NUDE IN FILMS AS WELL AS IN INTERNET SITES THEN WHY NOT IF IT IS REAL? AND IF YOU ARE IN YOUR OWN HOUSE THEN WHY SHOULD IT BE A PROBLEM FOR ANYONE ELSE?

Behind your fence is not public so in most circumstances you are OK, however if your next door neighbors can see you through their 2nd floor windows you might have some complaints.

As long as you're not in clear sight of ANYONE, you're clear.

Fencing doesn't work. Anyone in a plane or helicopter can potentially see you.

That's how technical you have to be.

Just to give you an idea.
