•I love the way we think we are the best country, but we can barely find ourselves on a world map
•I love the way obese people are simply ‘heavy’, and gluttony is not a sin

Even if everybody knew what was really going on in the world, no one would believe it, even if everybody believed it, nobody would want to do anything about it, even if everybody wanted to do something about it, nobody would know what to do, even if everybody knew what to do... well that would never happen.

WARFARE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Under Fire for 6 Hours, U.N. Peacekeepers Pleaded for Help Before Being Killed, U.N. Says
By Alissa J. Rubin, Times Staff Writer
July 27, 2006

UNITED NATIONS — The United Nations post where four peacekeepers were killed by Israeli fire Tuesday was hit at least 16 times over six hours, including five direct hits on the base as its unarmed staff repeatedly notified Israeli liaison officers and begged for help, U.N. officials said Wednesday.

On Tuesday U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan said the airstrike that hit the post in southern Lebanon was "apparently deliberate."

I am curious what others are thinking about how the government is handling the custody issues and child support issues. A lot of different types of errors have been found and I can name some the biggest one is favoritism to one parent or the other and the next are they really thinking about the child(ren) involved. There are cases out there where the custodial parent only wants the money and there are noncustodial parents who just use the children to control the other parent and that does not care about the children. I have seen a lot of different issues and not just mine and my boyfriends but others online too, and have even heard people discussing issues related to this and wonder how anyone can not think about the children. What do you think about all this and if you could change it how would you do it?

Why are some americans lazy and those who come here illegaly actually work to get ther papers and things done? and plus if they do manage "to kick out" all the illegals woulding America be almost like a deserted place? because i have read and heard that illegal people make up almost all of america.

P.S.LEAVE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ALONE!!!!! WHY ARE PEOPLE LIKE THIS!!!! PRETTY SOON THEY MIGHT WANT ONLY AMERICANS TO LIVE HERE IN AMERICA!!! AND IN THE FUTURE IF THIS IS GOING ON, AMERICA WILL NOT BE "THE LAND OF THE FREE" ANYMORE!!!

Obviously we could not go on a completely isolationist path...But what if???? Withdraw all over our troops from the 186 countries that we ocupy,no more humanitarian aid (100's billions yr), no more sharing our invaluable technology, and most importantly, leaving the world without free trade. (for those of you who don't know, free trade could not be obtained without the presence of the U.S Navy and American power in general). JUST IMAGINE... The fallout of such events would lead to the destruction, famine and pestulents of the entire world. Without the USAF around the globe..Germany, Japan, France, Britain, all of Africa and Asia, and the former USSR would all be in a state od DIRE STRAIGHTS.. I guess the point of this is....don't forget who your daddy is...

And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

2 in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3 And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him

Where I live, the age of consent is 17. If I were 17 or older, would that mean I could have sex with whomever I wanted to?

Would I be able to have sex with a non-minor?

My ex's wife was married in the phillipines and she supposedly moved here from there and supposedly her parents are or were missionaries from there. And I would like to know more about her and her family. As long as my kids go to thier house I feel I have the right to know what kid of people are there. She has four kids from her marriage in the phillipines and also know that her parents seem to have lots of money and she was abused in the marriage there and her ex supposedly tried to kill her and so on. Anyone have any resources or links etc that I can get a hold of to research her and that are free or very low cost? Also think that there may be a insurance scam and support scam going on with my ex and his wife being involved.

Bush and Rummy are always talking about how great Iraq is and that the mission is accomplished... so if the mission is accomplished and there are so many trained Iraqi policemen and soldiers (several hundred thousand according to Rummy).. then let's go home...

and they talk about how fantasic the economy is doing and how everything is at super all-time highs... then why don't we raise the minimum wage so everyone can reap some of the benefits? God knows the upper class are reaping the benefits...

Although Scripture does not attempt to "prove" that Jesus was raised from the dead, it does present conclusive evidence that He was in fact resurrected. Christ’s resurrection is recorded in Matthew 28:1-20; Mark 16:1-20; Luke 24:1-53 and John 20:1-21:25. The resurrected Christ also appeared in the Book of Acts (Acts 1:1-11). From these passages you can gain several "proofs" of Christ’s resurrection. Look at the dramatic change in the disciples. They went from scared and hiding in a room, to courageous and sharing the Gospel throughout the world. What else could explain this dramatic change other than the risen Christ appearing to them?
