Although Scripture does not attempt to "prove" that Jesus was raised from the dead, it does present conclusive evidence that He was in fact resurrected. Christ’s resurrection is recorded in Matthew 28:1-20; Mark 16:1-20; Luke 24:1-53 and John 20:1-21:25. The resurrected Christ also appeared in the Book of Acts (Acts 1:1-11). From these passages you can gain several "proofs" of Christ’s resurrection. Look at the dramatic change in the disciples. They went from scared and hiding in a room, to courageous and sharing the Gospel throughout the world. What else could explain this dramatic change other than the risen Christ appearing to them?

Personally I am puzzled. Actually we Christians forget that many of the spiritual truths embraced by those in India and even further east are far older than the story of Christ. I think the thing that makes me very puzzled about the stories of Christ's Resurrection is that each of the stories are so dissimilar. The three synoptic gospel have generally the basic same story. Mark's gospel is the most non descript. The story of the death of the moral hero and his Resurrection is at least 2000 years older than Christ. The story is found in the Egyptian mythos. I don't know if it is myth or real. What I do know is the it does not lessen or enhance my experience of the anima Christa, the spirit of Christ.

This is not evidence that would remotely stand up in any court of law.
None of the people mentioned was present at the event and they all have different versions of the story.
It is hearsay and is inadmissible
There was never even any proof that he was dead. You need a post-mortem report from a qualified medical practioner.

The bible is a work of fiction. If you want some good Non-Fiction, watch Michael Moores "Fahrenheit 911". It's backed up with video proof not some 2000 year old fairy tales.

... preaching now?

conclusive evidence comes from more than one source... would you consider the Koran to also be conclusive evidence of all of Mohammed's actions?

well, it has the same number of sources... one... both are basically the only story told about both of them...

all we know of the Gospels is what we are told in the gospels...any change is basically unprovable from any other source so who knows to what degree the change actually was and what could have caused it...
