Bush and Rummy are always talking about how great Iraq is and that the mission is accomplished... so if the mission is accomplished and there are so many trained Iraqi policemen and soldiers (several hundred thousand according to Rummy).. then let's go home...

and they talk about how fantasic the economy is doing and how everything is at super all-time highs... then why don't we raise the minimum wage so everyone can reap some of the benefits? God knows the upper class are reaping the benefits...

Republicans are so afraid of change that they can't stand it? That's why the don't want immagration, and they want to go to war with everyone. They don't understand the it is possible to lose a war though. America came to be a great country by the gun, and they believe that's how it remains great.

The problem of wages really rests with the states.

Some of the Republican issues that they thought they had a lock hold on are somehow coming unglued. And people are starting to ask questions about the ethics of the Republican Party.

The war in Iraq is turning into another Viet Nam. And everyone knows it. They are just looking for a graceful way out. I just hope it is smarter than the mass evacuations of Saigon in 1974-75.

Leaving Iraq is good since a government is already established thereat. Raising the minimum wage is also fantastic so that those in the lowest bracket will have a better life. Good issues that the Republicans must consider.

Umm...because it still takes work to keep things great, if they are already.

Don't get me wrong; I don't agree that everything is great. But your argument still doesn't hold water.

They aren't saying they are done. They are saying that where they are in their track to success is going as they expected or better.
