That's a great article....It illustrates that when an administration really wants to solve the problem, they can. Bush is apparently one of the 'good ole boys' who refuses to do anything....

If the problem was really "solved" 50 years ago, it wouldn't have continued in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and now. Eisonhower put a band-aid on the situation, and we have continued to unsuccessfully re-enforce that band-aid, swearing every time that "this time it will work", but it never does. The same reason Eisonhower's "solution" failed 50 years ago is the same reason today's "solution" is failing: 1. Illegals who want to be here will find new ways to get here, and 2. Certain US industries are dependent on alien labor in order to stay in business.

Perhaps we need a new plan, instead of waiting for a now 50 year old "solution" to start having any lasting success.

Good article, and some good ideas for getting serious. Clearly the current administration hasn't taken this issue seriously enough. But let's not deceive ourselves into believing that this is a new problem created under Bush. This issue has been growing year by year since Gerald Ford was in office.

Yes indeed, I know about this, and I'm saying now what I've always said .... there is no problem rounding up and deporting illegals, even if there are millions of them ... it was done before, and it can be done again ... what is lacking is the WILL to do it ... the difference is that Eisenhower was a man who wanted to crack down on corruption ... now we have a president who seems to thrive on it .... selling America down the drain so his business buddies can make another quick buck .... disgusting ....

i in my view have fun with each and all of the study you have accomplished. regrettably all you assert won't artwork with the way society is. Your message instruct a number of hatred in direction of Mexicans or as you call them extraterrestrial beings. people who come to this united states of america do no longer become taken care of like a extraordinary merchandise. they do no longer look to be right here to beg for funds like real US electorate who stand on the fringe of the line soliciting for funds without doing something to earn it. If the U. S. particularly would to do something like what they did in the previous, the U. S. additionally must contemplate on giving back land it particularly is taken from foreign places international places to apply as protection stress bases. This united states of america became began from immigration, some criminal and a few unlawful. I do agree that something ought to be accomplished approximately unlawful immigration yet without lots hate. i've got not got fun with the form you employ the term Alien and Wetbacks. (Wetbacks is a derogatory term for a Mexican or critical American who's interior the u . s . a .. The term reflects the perception that each physique Mexicans go the southern border of the united statesby way of the two swimming or wading around the Rio Grande. "Wetbacks" is likewise a blanket term from time to time used to describe absolutely everyone of the Mestizo race)(no longer all illegals are wetbacks) You look to easily emphasize on Mexicans, why is that? There are different borders and not only Mexicans come to this united states of america. i'd heavily like to work out you working shape with one hundred fifteen levels and easily getting paid 5.seventy 5 hr. no longer getting paid by using the years and not having any rights to dispute your salary. I’m specific you or any US citizen does not final in a job like this for countless hours. you will probable circulate and declare incapacity or get on welfare. If each and all of the unlawful circulate away this united states of america our economic equipment will substitute for the greater serious. expenses will circulate up because of upward push of wages for hard artwork jobs. cost of residing heavily isn't hassle-free. the U. S. will only do what ever is greater handy for them, they do have the potential for deporting all of unlawful, yet do no longer you think of they end and picture of each and all of the economic issues they'd get in to? it is what my own opinion is and don't particularly care of what stupid or nonsense opinion others have like yours.
