They didn't press charges or anything. but I was losing sleep over it the other day..

I worked for a summer internship at 14/hr for the summer. At that point, they asked me to work extra during the school year.. I tried my best but come Jan.. I couldn't do it. At that point, they realized they had overpaid me.. I had no clue! They asked me to come in to compensate for around $1000 overpay. (they thought I was coming in once a week.. but I was only coming in every 2nd week)

I just brushed them off and ignored their calls.. I had no more time to work there! It was a 2 hour bus ride to get there.. I had enough!

I am currently trying to identify those regions in the world which, even though souvereign states, will be most unlikely to get dragged into wars when whatever is happening now in the Mid-East and Asia escalates (includes terrorist activity). My current guesses center around Latin America. Any other, interesting guesses?

I am trying to create an overview over legislation in place in English-speaking countries pertaining to the likely age range of conscripts to be drafted from the civilian population when martial law is being declared. There is enough data out there about the US, but seemingly none on New Zealand and Australia. Can anyone help?

I don't know for how long this circus which is lead by isreal will be?

They are really family oriented and educate their children well. They make up a tiny fraction of the population but are one of the richest communities! Their avg per capita income is 10-15000 p/a higher than the rest of american national average! They make for productive americans. Why are they still hated?

His charcter made the comment that, in NY, they have exactly the same powers as a police officer, carry guns, can make arrests, etc. Is this true and would it apply to other locales as well? Also, wouldn't a fire marshall be allowed to write a ticket for someone parked in a fire zone or would that be totally left up to a patrol office or parking enforcement personnell? Thanks!
