Because believe it or not, a couple of people have told me that. They were for Westley and now that he's not in, they'll likely vote for someone they don't like and voted against Proposition-wise (Schwarzenegger), just because they don't like Angeles. That's kind of scary--just because yes he's boring, was a developer (Schwarzenegger has even shadier dealings with special interests who are already drilling in Baja California immediately after he was elected), and has an ethnic name, doesn't mean he's not at least a slightly better alternative to Schwarzenegger. Have Californians already forgotten about the special election and trying to take pensions away from police and firefighters? When there's a rat in office shouldn't you make sure you vote him out when the opportunity is there? Angeledes can always be gotten rid of, too.

If they were to fight it out, old school style, who would come out on top? I think Bush could take Kerry. He seems to be in better shape...what do you think?

A lady bought property down the road from us and renovated the house from 2 bedroom 1 bath to 5 bedroom 3 bath and a "bunk house" that can sleep 16! Our deed restrictions on the Right of Easement papers say "All lots shall be used for residential purposes only and no business of any kind can be conducted upon any lot" and "No temporary dwelling house will be permitted on any lot; and any permanent dwelling house erected on any lot must contain no less than 800 square feet of floor space, excluding porches and garages." We live in a very secluded and quiet waterfront area and the right of easement and deed restrictions include all 27 lots in our area. The internet is advertizing it as a Vacation Resort home.Answer me this: #1-What is a temp dwelling home? #2What can I do/who can I contact to shut her down for having a business in the residential area?(w/o paying a lawyer)Now we have a lot of traffic on the road and thefts. Every weekend there are 4 to10 cars there. Thanks.

If so, who proposed it? What a shame that someone would suggest such a proposal that contradicts the symbol of the United States.

Why is it that 10 million illegal immigrants in the US vote in Mexico's election? They obviously dont want to be in Mexico, so why in the heck would Mexico let them vote? Makes no sence to me... Why WOULD you vote in a country that you dont want to be part of.... ? and no one give me that junk about their trying to better their lives here..... if they want to make a difference, stay in Mexico and MAKE a difference, get into politics.... Mexico may be a pour country, but there is alot of money to be made there.

Also, their lawsuits can directly and indirectly hurt innocent people who had nothing to do with it. And parents these days are the root of most of this country's modern problems- they're so half assed and lazy, they think it's the government and school's job to supervise and raise their kids, but god forbid if anyone tell them to discipline their kids and teach them right from wrong, they get so defensive and denying. Oh, and going to jail for rape, drug trafficking and obcenity does not make you a political prisoner. Let's stop living in the '60s.

Alright. The Geneva Convention Documents provide rights to militants. To be a militant you must fufill at least one Basic Requirements.
1. The militant must wear identifying insignia to relate them to a countries military.
2. They must carry arms openly.
3. A country must claim them as citizens.

Now, we've gone and extended Constitutional Rights to the prisoners we've taken. Which means they have to adhere to our laws. But we can't try them for murder or terrorism because of the Ex Post Facto Law. They commited the crime when they were not under our Laws. And if we try them for international terrorism, they are tried with our rights, which makes them citizens of our nation. Therfore we claim them, which fufills one of the requirements of the Geneva Convention. Is this correct? Are these terrorist unlawful combatant and deserve no rights? I think so.

Writing an appreciation letter to the local Police, Fire and Ambulance Stations?
I want to write a complimentary letter to my local Police, Fire and Ambulance Stations... I need to keep it short and I want it to be the best ever yet so it can always be remembered. I'm a teenager and as I see it a thank-you letter is rarely sent by youth these days. I really respect them for what they do and I want to let them know that. I see them driving by but I don't want to disturb them to say 'Hi'. Sometimes I'll see them at a store and ask for an autograph, they seem very surprised yet proud. So, if there is anything someone can help me with, I'd really appreciate it. I'm a good writer but this means a lot to me. I'm an artist, I also want to draw the patrol car along with it. Thank-you.

i just got a neighbor who turns on his car stereo with this loud Bass sytem. I don't even see who dumb invented this Bass thing, cause it's so damaging to health. Well anyways, there's nothing wrong with the actual music in his car.. i don't even hear it. but that BASS vibration bothers me alot , .. Sure i have ear damage already since 2 years ago,, but even if i didn't i wouldn't want to hear that vibrating BOOOOMMMsssssssssss repeatedly for hours. With each BOOM the windows in my house vibrate and even my ears do too. Why do these people not realize this?
should i call the police for this? And by the way, 911 is for emergencies, is there a police number for general questions?

Why should they get paid so much when there are so many other things that need the attention and money if we really need to keep it inspite of all the problems that it can lead to.
Does money really need to be a social standard?
