In 1997 President Clinton used this new budget cutting tool 82 times to delete unnecessary expenditures in 11 spending bills.
this is in reference to the line-item veto power

Other presidents used the Veto: Nixon 43, Reagan 78, Ford 66 among others.

With Newt (the slime ball) Gingrich as Senate leader, who was forced to resign, I wonder why?
