I am very strong in my beliefs that abortion is wrong---no matter what!!! So I challenge anyone to try to convince me otherwise. Please tell me why you have strong beliefs for or against abortion.

The death toll for American soldiers in Iraq now stands at 2,517. The number of Iraqis who have died as a result of the US occupation is unknown but a study done over a year and a half ago by the British medical journal The Lancet estimated the number of civilian casualties at 80,000 to 100,000. The all poweful puke poor USA should be ashamed.

"The corruption spreading from south of the border is not confined to Southern California," he writes. "In Cameron County, Texas, the former sheriff and several other officials were recently convicted of receiving drug-smuggling bribes. In Douglas, Ariz. – where the international border runs down the middle of the town and divides it from its sister city of Agua Prieta, Mexico – the mayor's brother was discovered to have a tunnel from one of his rental properties going into Mexico.

No crash, criminal record, anything. Got pulled over for incomplete stop at stop sign and got a DUI (chose blood test over breathalyzer). If I'm not contesting the DUI, is it still worth it to get an attorney? Or just go in myself and plead guilty? The attorney fees would come in real handy elsewhere, but if it helps...

Thank you.

Imagine being in a group social situation where there are mostly English only speaking citizens. You are either a naturalized citizen from another country or an illegal alien who is bilingual. Would you feel totally comfortable speaking only your own language, without any thought for the others around you who might want to hear what you have to say. Doesn't it kinda set up a situation of disrespect? Doesn't this sort of behavior here in the USA come down to being rude? That is: "not sharing" with others? I know it isn't law in the US but it is an issue of respect and giving social respect to those who you are "in with." when you have the multilingual ability, to speak in the tongue of the country you are visiting or have newly become a citizen of?

I found out that a sex offender lives next door to me. I initially was pissed off, but I found out exactly what he did. He downloaded child porn 8 years ago. He didn’t touch a child, didn’t buy or sell the porn… he downloaded it. I talked to him and he showed me his PSI (pre-sentence investigation). He did exactly that – download child porn off of a newsgroup. Nothing more – nothing less. He Served 2 ½ years in prison and 3 years probation. I kind of feel sorry for the guy. I personally believe he got the shaft for what he did.

This is just a fake senario but I think it explains well what I mean:

1) Man gets charged with felony theft at age 18 in South Dakota.
2) Man is accused of felony statutory rape at age 32 in South Dakota. This was a class 3 felony but his prior felony charge is being considered and bumps it up to a class 2 felony, on three charges. This moves his faced time up from 10 years each charge to 25 years each charge.
I am trying to find out if there is a limitation on how long a prior felony can be used against someone to influence a current felony charge.

Thanks!

Already this year, the Republican-controlled Congress has approved an average tax cut of $42,000 for those making more than a million dollars annually. Now they are on track to give more tax cuts to the super rich, yet they refuse even to allow a vote on an increase in the minimum wage. This is truly a disgrace and a slap in the face to all Americans who go to work every day and must provide for their families on poverty wages.

Should President Bush actually lead ,as President George Washington did, the American forces into Battle? I think it would be a Boost to our soldiers and marines to see George Bush actually doing what he is being paid to do. Do you want to see the troops leave Iraq. Pass this law and they will be home before Airforce one can be refueled. George is NOT going to GO to Iraq and fight.

The Senators kept adding language to the bill, example " consultation" with Mexican authorities before the agreed-upon fence is built. They shouldn't have any say on how we build our fence on our side of the border. Both of my senators in Calif are Democraps and yes I spelled it right, they both voted yes, when I called Boxers office to complain about the S.2611 they almost hung up on me. I will email Feinstein. No matter what, Trump argues, a new Saddam Hussein will eventually take over the country.
