Well depends on the state/city/county and depends on how the disturbing the peace was worded. If it's a simple Disorderly conduct (DOC) or Disorderly conduct by language, The DOC by language would cost more. Most DOCL is in the range of $250-$600 which is a class c miss. A simple doc ticket could be $15-$100.

As far as the water throwing goes. That could be a class B assault charge do to being an object throw or criminal mischief by motions or assault by contact or assault by object.

It's hard to say do to not knowing how the charges where worded. Like the subject hit the guy with water or the suspect assaulted the victim with a liquid causing minor eye discomfort.

It all falls on how the report and charges are worded.

Throwing water would probably be considered worse by a court, or by a jury if the lawyer argues well; If you verbally abuse someone, they know exactly what is going on, but if you throw water at someone that person has no way of knowing for sure what that was. Was it acid? Am I going to be scared for life, or even die? Was the liquid contaminated with a lethal virus?

Water causes way more pain and suffering than words. I hope you were the one using the racial slurs. That's not nice, but it's much less threatening.

Sounds to me like someone called you a name and you threw water on them. In this case niether 'wins' you can both be charged and convicted. Throwing water on someone is mostly harrassment and is only a violation, same with disturbing the peace, but due to the racial part of it maybe charged more seriously.

disturbing the peace. if there's racial comments in there then there should a serious a*s whooping following that. actually, beatdowns are imminent with both of those so both would actually hold up in court, for the other guy.
