I don't think there is a road to hell. If there were, I would think that republicans (or democrats, or indepents like me) would not hold up well compared to, say, concrete, or cobblestones.
If you are asking if republicans are more likely to deserve hell or to lead others to hell I would turn your attention to the Democratic poster child of our era, Mr Clinton, who led the league in adultry.
Since there are plenty of Republican with hellish pasts also, and since we all deserve hell, I would have to conclude that I cannot concur with political party making a person more or less likely to be hell road pavement.
