I'm always amazed how history repeats. The first Pro-Choice movement in the southern states in the 1840-1850's was amazingly the same argument the abortionist uses today: It's acceptable to own a slave..after all it's just a black person. The speaker of the house said: I personally don't own a slave but I would never want to stop another from the free choice of owning slaves. The pro-abortionist say it's ok to murder children..after all it's only a fetus. Many say I wouldn't want an aboration but I don't want to tell other what to do..it's up to them not me. I believe one day children will learn of aboration and be in disbelief that at a time in history it was legal to murder babies..and they called it a choice...just as we look back in horror that another could own another human being..both shocking..both wrong beyond belief..but we allow it in the name of choice. BOTH are really one thing...a lowering of human value! Salvery/Aboration..wrong then and now.

Why is it that a homeowner "has" to have a fence errected around a swimming pool on their property? I understand the issue about keeping kids safe, but what if I don't have kids?

Why should I have to alter my property when someone doesn't belong on it without my permission in the first place?

Furthermore, where are the parents of young kids that sometime wander off? They should get their kids taken away by child protection for improper supervision.

This is just the same as if I had something else dangerous on my property (ie...power tools), so why do I have to HAVE a fence for a pool, but not the other items...

I am looking for homeowners who live on the property to answer this, not those who rent the properties.

My boyfriend has two charges, A class C felony and a Class A felony that were from statements made by people, then they tried to drop the charges and the prosecuting attorney took it to state and wouldn't drop them. (bad blood with prosecuting attorney and someone in my boyfriends family)

i'm not sure if i have what it takes to be an attorney. I'm intelliegent, can speak eloquently, don't mind hard work. However, I'm generally a very nice, non-argumentive type of person. I don't mind taking charge but prefer not to argue with people. I'm just wondering what people have to say? It would be great if you or someone you know is a lawyer & can describe their personality.

The key word is illegal. If they are here illegaly, they should be held accountable, as should the employers that hire them.

Have sent all papers and documents available for discharge. Now they want proof of std for year of 03. Former employer no longer handles those papers. Have tried to call everyone who may be connected with my previous employer, but still no responses. I'm at the point where I want to say, Just send payment booklet, but lost husband in 02, went on disability in 02, and have not worked a day since. Does anyone have ANY advice where to turn to or how to handle this problem? Does anyone know of any type of attorney, very reasonable,if not free, to be able to give advice on this matter? I'm desperate as on SS and trying to survive on that. I have sent as many papers as possible showing disability began on 9/25/02, but more and more papers from IRS are required and more info from previous employer. It has changed 3 times since I worked there and each time I call to get the info am told I'm not in the system. Where do I turn or does anyone have ANY solution. Thank you Stress is mounting!

They tell us how to run our lives but they don't follow the same rules, now they propose an immigration bill that the majority of americans reject, the biggest rat is Ted Kennedy who wants to give illegals money they put on stolen social security numbers, but did not say how the victims of those stolen numbers will be compensated, many victims will lose what they contributed for many years
