Neither!
I dont want another Bush to ruin America's reputation/economy/people in/ around the world. Enough distructions with what Bush- family did. Time to move on!
Condoleeza cant be a President! Why? Because she is black and a woman. I dont think American people/ Senate (caucasians mostly) that generous and ready. Face it! Who would support a puppet like Ms. Rice? Oprah? Then, get real!)

I have to comment on one of these answers before I answer this question. Arnold is not eligable to run for president he was not born in the US (and no the constitution would not be amended to allow such a move, not enough support). I would say the GOP nominie for President could be John McCain, but I doubt he would run, I think the run in 2000 really affect him.

i also think john mccain, as some of your respondents suggest. the independent voters could become a powerful force in the next election. the question is, has he softened his view on, "politics as usual", for the GOP to give him the nod? i think he should run as an independent and go for that brass ring! things could probably get ugly, but he's a tough guy!

The Republicans best chance lies within John McCain. He has a proven track record and could interest some independent voters.
