I got divorced last year. Durring the divorce, my ex husband signed over ALL rights to our 5 year old daughter, to me. He pays no support and does not see her. I have full cusdody. Since then, I have gotten remarried and my new husband and I want to look into having him adopt my daughter. Here are my questions.

1.) How do I go about this? & who do I talk to? (we live in Indiana)
2.) Do we need a lawyer?
3.) My daughter still has my ex husbands last name (I never got around to changing it) so do I need to change her name back to my madien name before we start the adoption process?
4.) Will my ex husband need to sign anything or will they notify him of anything?

Please only people who know what they are talking about. Thank you again for all the help!! :)

There is a lot of propaganda given to the American people that the United States Government loves them and cares about them.If you buy it,you're a "patriotic conservative".If you see through it,you are a
"bad traitor liberal".But the Government doesnt care. They'll keep filling up Americans ears with religion to keep them quiet, war to keep them busy, and patrotism to keep them from noticing how much they are getting robbed.
Any" liberal degenerate punks" out there who see what a conformist
joke pro-war ultraconservatism is?

I'm starting a betting pool. With Bush as president, how many more months do you think the world will be around? Wait a second.... maybe the apocolypse isn't the best idea for a betting pool......

I want to help out, and know that this can make a lot of money for kids, old people, and animals. I dont personally have a problem with it, but others might. I think the good must outweigh the bad, what are your thoughts?

For political reasons, it would be convenient for the NSA to report via telephone (as the news story indicates) that al-Zarquawi was killed, but that could be something orchestrated by the NSA/CIA/Defense Intelligence to aid their boss - the President, whose poll numbers are horrible. How do we know the validity of that claim?

I personally don't think that the police should have to clean up after their horses. After all, they are protecting our streets and ourselves. I believe that it would save the department and the taxpayers alot of $$ if they implemented a program where by inmates could and should be doing this kind of work. Being a contributing memeber of sociey is what it's all aboult, and it's a start. I am all for having criminals being intrigrated in our society since it is a fact of life. So lets get use to it and use to seeing them. Now of course I am not talking your card core criminals. Murderes, rapists and others of the sort. I am talking, criminals who have not paid their child support ( my favourite), unpaid fines (tickets) the later of this group should not be sent to prison but be put to pick of after the police horses. See? I hope so. We need the low end criminals to contribute to society. This would just be one way.

OK, here's my analysis. I was an international relations/ political science master's major from the University of Wisconsin for whatever that's worth. I don't think it will be a hit to the jugular for the enemy. It will cause brief chaos and a minor power struggle within Al-Qaeda but their overall battle plan will remain constant and unchanged. However, this will prove to be a badly needed morale boost for U.S. troops. And they will need this as many analysts fear that al-Qaeda will seek retribution. Tough weeks could follow. Maybe the toughest since Fallujah. But seeing today's headlines probably prompted many sighs of relief. That's for sure. Score one for the good guys. Also, the Taliban have sharply increased attacks in Afghanistan recently. Alot will be determined by the end of this year in a military sense. 2006 will be remembered as a make or break year in Bush's War On Terror (trademark symbol).

There's a lot of reactionary venom on the far Right. If memory serves me correctly, one of the hallmarks of patriotism is to speak with diplomacy and decency towards a dissenting opinion.I do take cold comfort in knowing I hold the power to make reactionaries explode(Yahoo wishes it was Google this means you),but I'm coming to believe these child abuse cases are using right-wing politics as a form of abuse.
I need a laugh.Tell me what an immoral liberal scum this independent is.Please.Grrr.Liberals!Grrrrrrr!
And what of the proof by conservatives that religious grandstanding makes people prefer war over peace?
