I do believe that refusing a lawful order from a policeman, such as to get out of one's car, is a clear violation of the law, and is considered resisting an officer.
Personally, I think such people should have some teeth knocked out with a truncheon and a few lumps put on their heads, but that's just how I roll.
As for the dog, if the owner can't control it in a crowd, while the police are arresting someone on the ground, it certainly is the correct call.
Again, personally, I think that breaking it's little spine with a well placed truncheon blow would be better, but that's how I roll. I don't take kindly to vicious dogs on the loose.

They are being shocked. Electrocution is like drowning. By definition the term means the result is death.
If you think police are viscious here, got to Spain. There the Caribenari can and will shoot to kill if you don't stop when they say halt!
I'd have a problem IF the police were going around taseing people randomly. Otherwise I DON'T have a problem with it. This isn't Utopia. Why do you expect it to be?

hi Bob, the 1920's said as and requested that you come to that aspect. I went capturing guns with my spouse on our vacation. We had a 40 5 magnum, a 12 gauge shotgun and an M-16. i'm a large guy and grow to be fearful about the draw back on those guns, yet my spouse went and shot them with none issues and were given a larger degree of accuracy than I had, besides the very incontrovertible truth that those are some severe guns. sure, women are smaller, yet what they lack in length, they make up in velocity and attitude. i do not favor to debris with a police officer, because the following is a lady which will outrun you, outsmart you and likely don't have any problem capturing a gun with pinpoint accuracy. And yeah, one extra component, you want to take women police officials heavily, because they have this enormous component said as the regulation in the back of them and with it comes an complete branch of huge burly adult adult males which have understood the benefits of ladies on the police stress and could be at liberty to diminish back them up antagonistic to all and sundry dissing them. So, you're previous shaped and sense that police officials and infantrymen should be merely adult adult males, in spite of the undeniable fact that that's a clean century and in case you don't love it, then you ought to comprehend this as some thing else of society does.

I don't know, if you're speeding and get pulled over, then mouth off to the officer and refuse to get out of your car, I suppose a rational person would expect some sort of action by the officer to enforce what he ordered you to do.
And a pit bull on the loose in a crowd, that sounds reasonable to me.
I think questioning our own actions and resulting fault is something we need to return to rather than blaming others for our actions.

I don't agree with hurting innocent people, but if a police officer shoots someone to death and then find out they are innocent that is even worse. They are protecting themselves a less deadly way which I have no problem with.

Didn't you already ask this question?
'should they be allowed'?
they should not be 'allowed to abuse their power', but yes, they should be allowed to have less lethal forms of protection.
---
by the way, if you dont keep your 'innocent' pit bull on a leash when police are trying to control a suspect, be thankfull they don't shoot it in the head instead of tasering it.
----
Ok, i just watched the first video (i had to add quicktime to this machine), and the woman deserved it. Did you watch all the clips? She had an attitude from the start, she was driving on a suspended license and refused to get out of the car when she was asked 5 times, and warned she would be tazed 4. She wouldn't get off her cell phone, and ignored every request/order by the officer.
I'm glad he tazed here instead of beating her face in with a baton.
---
I suppose if you were the cop you would just beg for the person to listen to you. "PLEASE!!!! PLEASE!!!! PLEASE get out. I hate to hurt your feelings, but please step out of the car so I can arrest you. PLEASE!!!!

Only watched the first video...but whats the Problem? The woman Isn't Innocent as you state....The Officer did his job,and did it properly. As far as:1.Baton...if he used his baton, hed get accused of abuse
2.he tried removing her from vehicle, and she struggled
3.Pepperspray:Have u ever been hit with this stuff?I have during training,Personally I'd rather be shocked
So again whats your Problem? That was textbook arrest....

Yes, it's not the volts. It's the amps that are most meaningful in an electric shock.

cops do what ever they want to, and their captains supervisors or what ever take up for them. we had a guy here run from the law, when they caught him, they ran over him twice with the patrol car, broke both of his legs.and then two of them start beating him in the head with thoes sticks they carry, all of this was on video and they showed it on the news, but stilll they wasnt fired because they was only doing their job.kinda makes people scared to be pulled over for any thing.
