AND WHY CAN AN IGNORANT LIBERAL ASK ANTHING THEY WANT ON YAHOO BUT CONSERVATIVES GET CENSORED?

2006-06-08 04:15:23 · update #1

John - you miss my point.

I agree with the adage, I am free to rob a bank, if I'm willing to do the time.

I should not have to "do the time" by have insults hurlded at me for simply living my life no more than a gay person should who wishes to simply live their life.

For people who seem to believe their liberal in their own minds, liberals come off awfully trite and controlling in many many overt ways to the rest of us. That's what my point is.

I'm a Liberal.

You do have some Good points.

All Americans have a right to "choose" how they want to make themselves happy.

As for cars - I think gas guzzlers are bad because they keep America on it's knees for Oil Rich Arabs.
I don't like Middle-East Arabs - I don't want us to be so dependent on their oil.

Conservatives get censored here ? I don't think so.. look at questions posted by "YahooWishesItWasGoogle".
He is full of lies and hate, put he keeps on posting his B.S.

Terrific question! I can't add anything to it, except why can't people "choose" to own and use any firearm, as long as they do so safely and responsibly? By the way, I am a safety instructor, and the hammers of hell itself should come down on the heads of those who don't...

You can choose to support or do anything you want. Liberals also have the choice to denounce you for the choices you make just like you have the right to do likewise to liberals.

Everyone has the right to their opinion so get over it.

I don't know who's telling you all these "can'ts" but I think John Stolworthy answered you very eloquently. He gets my vote for best answer even if I only get 2 points.

You want your idiot, racial ,discriminitory
"opinions" to be imposed on others without
regard to how it effects them.

War kills innocent people! You don't care as long
as you can drive your SUV and not have to see it!

You want an enforced church state!

Try thinking about something other than your FAT self!

Why can't people "choose" to support the war without being called war mongers?

War wongers are those who started the war, not those who support it. I opposed the war but am in favor of finishing what we started. Does that make me a liberal warmongor?

Why can't people "choose" to go to church with out being called right wing religeous zealots?

Going to Church has little to do with being a right wing religeous zealot. Attempting to force your ideology on others through legislation does. I am a Christian.Does that make we a left-wing religious zealot?

Why can't people "choose" define marriage by their own definition without being called homophobes or bigots?

People can. The government can't. Any rights not explicitly granted in the Constitution (marriage isn't in there) are left to the states to decide. The gay marriage debate is a tough one. You can be opposed to gay marriage, but to deny equal rights to a group of people simply because they are homosexuals would be discriminatory.

Why can't people "choose" to eat meat or wear fur without having blood slung on them in public?

I eat meat and wear leather. PETA is protected by the right to free speech, but when they cross the line to throwing blood, they need to be charged with assault.

What can't people "choose" to drive what car they want?

I don't remember this law. I "choose" to own 2 American made cars, both of which get 25-30 MPG. I do this because I like American cars and like to save money on gas. If you want to dump $80-100 a week on gas, feel free. Just keep them tuned up and keep the emmission controls in place.

Why can't people "choose" to support any candidate they want?

You can, but I reserve my right to pick on you for it, just like I was picked on for voting for Nader in 2000.

Why can't people "choose " to spend their education tax dollars on private education?

I am a liberal, but side with conservatives on this. I am for education choice. Yes, I said "choice". My tax dollars go to support one of the best school districts in my state. That's why I live in the town I live in. Your tax dollars should support the school you choose to send your children to, as long as it meets national guidelines.

Why can't people "choose" their own opinions about immigation?

You can. Opinions are yours and you have a right to them, just as I have a right to mine.

“I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it” - Voltaire

This applies in most cases, but if you "choose" to be vindictive and resort to petty insults, you can expect the same in return.

edit: I noticed someone mentioned gun control. I don't know what part of "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed." people can't grasp.

edit: Hatred is spewed equally from both sides. I report ANYONE who directly insults other participants. I have probably reported as many liberals as conservatives, and have never gotten a warning myself. Keep it clean, make your point without resorting to petty, meaningless insults, and move on.

I've seen responses to this question from liberal whining (as they are wont to do) that you can't force your idealogy through legislation, well, isn't that what the QUEERS are doing? Forcing us to ACCEPT their "lifestyle"? Great question, best I've seen!
