No NO NO--it was world war 1, and the TURKS WERE SURROUNDED and were at WAR with Armenians and Russians-----Turks lost thousands of troops AND civillians. Genocide is when a group is killed sysematically by government order and IS not applicabe here at all. War is war. Get it straight!

The turks did it. They're just incapable of admitting it. It's like the attrocitites commited by the Japanese in China during ww2. They refuse to admit it.
