They are constantly trying to create more Government Programs that eat up more of our income. They are constantly trying to increase the spending on entitlement programs which takes more of our tax dollars. I don't know about rest of you but I WORK to provide a living for MY FAMILY. I don't mind paying my fair share of taxes for NECESSARY programs (National Security etc...) but when 40-60% of my income goes to various taxes and government fees I get fed up.

ever since hoover the expanded buddgets to keep an eye on americans has done nothing but grow.
Now they have what they want the final piece to the puzzle.
The right to tap your phone and listen to what you say.
If hitler had this ability to monitor all calls world wide would we all be wearing uniforms today .
This final peice to the puzzle is the last step to ending freedom and all in the name of freedom.
I give up there is no fighting this monster of a government we have lost control finaly and the end is near for anyone who does not tow the line and march to the drummer.
50 some odd years of government trying to rule the people has succeeded.THE ones i hold responcible are the conservative movement who where so blinded by the truth they continued to support the very people who pulled this off in front of everyone.SO stupid is this group the march already to church every sunday and are willing to make us all follow them cause it is the right thing to do .WHAT HAPPENED TO FREE WILL

When we criticize real power structures, are you sure it will not be censured or even sanctioned. Is the freedom of speech enabled only in „secure“ areas to give the impression that it really exists

My memory takes me back to feeling dread when hearing we were going to Iraq (again) and this time no end in sight. Others are telling me Bush guaranteed we would be out in a year.

The push to ban Gay marriage, something that many believe is an expression of religious freedom, was defeated in the Senate yesterday.Yes I do think it looked like a desperate attempt by Bush to rally his base and cover for other failures. With his approval rating at 30%,what will do now?
Yes I know I am an unamerican god-hater for posing the question this way!

To believe that it's all that simple would be wrong in my estimation.
Remember when Saddam was caught, or whatever? remember
How Repubs glowed with the thought that Iraq would now be a wonderland?
Do you think people fight us for no other reason than that someone is telling them to?

Continuing rise in cost of living + influx of illegal immigrants + political wars in the middle east + loss of freedoms and rights in USA in the interest of national security being just a small percentage of influential factors.

I am not a teen, nor do I own a bar, so don't start thinking I want this changed for my own benefit. I am a 32 yo mom of 3 boys.
If you are an adult at 18, required to pay taxes, can vote, smoke cigarettes, join the military and die for this country, along with all the other privileges, rights and duties associated with becoming an adult, why can't you go out after a work day and have a beer or two legally, without risk of jail or fines?? Unite 18-20 year olds, change this law. I'll vote for it.
