I would love it... what is wrong with that? they come here for the same reason we did, freedom, and if you call that a crime you should leave....

I would continue to live my life the way I do now. I would actually probably enjoy it more, because I would gain a better appreciation of a culture different than my own. I suppose I would move if I felt oppressed, unsafe or discriminated against, but those would be enlightening experiences as well. I don't believe there would be a bigger crime rate, because I think a lot of crime comes from feeling oppressed or in the minority and that would no longer be true for latinos. We are all people and living in a country like that would give me an even deeper understanding of that.

It’s really sad and depressing to read all this stuff. Some of the people writing here are so racist, uncultured and don’t use their brains or hearts. How can you say latinos are stupid jerks, when you’ve meet just a few or not even one latino in your life. It’s like I would say all the people from the united states are racist, stupids and uncultured people, I know not all of you are like that. I say people from the states because you are not the only Americans, every single person living in the American continent are Americans, mexican, cubans, cadidiants, guatemalans like myself we all are americans as well. I’m an american and I’m not from the United States I’m from Central America. And I agree with Marvelous M, people writing here have no idea about latinos, we don't take siestas, stop stereotyping the taco food and all that, I don't eat tacos, and I'm a latina!
It also hurts me to see how many latin people are going to that country that might offer more money, studies or "better life", but a lot of people from that country don't like latinos and most important I believe the united states have nothing we latinos don’t have or can achieve. If the problem is that we want a better life than we had in our country why don’t we do something for our country? I mean if you love your country then do something for it, don’t run away from the problem. I think it’s ok to go and study from other cultures the so called "develped" countries, and definitely not only the “american culture” I think we can learn lot’s more from europe or others and use our learning's in our country and star making a better life in our country, not forgetting or putting aside what makes your country unique and special (and that is not just the food), not forgetting who we are, our heritage, culture and beliefs which I believe are stronger, more human and moral that the ones in the united states.
So I think it's no time and it's no useful to hate people you don’t even know, nor time to run from your problems and say you love your country when you are not doing anything for It, but for yourself. I think it’s time to put and end to all this hate and racism in the world.

Some of the answers to these questions are just SO ignorant!!! And they say Mexicans are jerks and stupid.

I'd say if the U.S. was 99% Latinos, the white people would do the jobs Latinos didn't want to do.

By the way people, Latinos are not only Mexicans, stop bashing and hating and go learn something.

Convince them to give me a casino.

I'd live in Canada until illegal immigrants started claiming they were shoveling the snow that Canadians won't.

Just wondering why 99% is considered the whole and not 100%. Will giving 109% be the new giving 110%?

Open a chain of "99 pesos" stores and sell memberships for $99 a year.

wow. i dont think i have ever seen more ignorant people in a forum together, ever. Do you know anything about Latinos? And do you realize that not all Latinos are Mexican? We don't really take siestas, drink margaritas all day and eat tacos. It would be like saying Americans eat hot dogs and hamburgers three meals a day, watch baseball all day, and use people for money.
Do yourself a favor, educate yourself before putting some stupid answer on here. Learn about cultures and how it could affect you. And it could happen, it's just sad that there are so many racial bastards out there like some people here.

I would be happy because all the Latinos that US has have been working a lot to have a good place for their family and sometimes we don't know what they have been through and some people just judges them for who of how they look like, when we don't really know them. So that will be a good thing to have a lot of Latinos in US they do the jobs that Americans don't want to do.

Well, since for me, "this whole country" is Canada, I'd move to Quebec. I don't speak Spanish, which would hurt me for the 99% of Canada hypothetically gone Latino. But since I speak French, I'd still be able to find work and get about in Quebec.

I'd change my name to Graciella and bang all the pedros and armandos with 6 packs around me.

aye papi!

Actually, if this country was made up of 99% latinos.. i don't think i would be living here.

Nothing. Latinos aren't a problem. Try going over to places such as Costa Rica, San Juan and the like. They are the most nice people you wanna meet. In America, the media paints a picture of them being law breakers and lazy. I'm a religious person, so for me, I don't care. People are people, and even in our own race, there are injustice and back stabbing.

Jesus doesn't care, and i don't either

What's your point? What if this country was made up of 99% People from the moon.

I would still go to work, earn money, take care of my family, enjoy my friends. It would not matter one iota to me, as long as people are friendly, fun loving, and want to accomplish something, had ambition, after that who gives a rat's a*s?
