This mouse is about 3 or 4 months old, and she lives with 3 other females. I know she's not pregnant, but she sure looks like it. She used to be the littlest one, but now she's the chubbiest. She still likes running on the wheel and being active. She eats what all the other mice eat, but they're at a healthy weight, while she's quite fat. What can I do to help her slim down? I want her to be at a healthy weight like her cage mates. Also, how do I know that nothing is seriously wrong with her, like a tumor or something? Thanks for your help!

I just bought two ferrets yesterday from some people. They said they fed them cat food along with vitamin supplements, but I've read from multiple sources that ferrets should NOT be fed cat food because they have different digestive systems. I bought them ferret food, but they won't even eat it. What's the best way to wean them off cat food? Is it okay for them to eat cat food? Any help ASAP would help.

How can i get a cat head? I think it would be cool to replace my head with a cat. Is there anyway i can do this, and perhaps put my head on the cats body? I would be the life of every party i go to.

my blind dog Angel was put down last night because her kydneys failed. so i took her collar and put it on my ztuffed zebra that i sleep with and i have been carrying it around and holding the zebra like it was Angel. but everytime the tags jingle i think of her even more and my other dog comes running with this hopeful look on his face and jumps up to smell the collar on my zebra. but everytime i just look at my other dog that is still alave (Teddy) i just start crying. i dont know how i can do this. because i cant just go everyday of my life not looking at Teddy or thinking about Angels happy little snorts and those last kisses she gave me. how do i get over this?=[ =[ =[ =[

I was eating, and I heard weird animal screaming noises! I went outside, and there was a bunny in our pool, sinking!! He was above water, screaming, trying to swim. He was drowning! It is snowy here, and the pool gate was locked. I unlocked it, jumped in wearing my clothes and grabbed the bunny. I saved him just in time. He is okay. But I am scared he had rabies. What do I do? Me and him are inside by the fire warming up. What do I do?!?!?!

I'm getting my own apartment and I've decided to go to the animal shelter to adopt either a cat or dog so I won't be so lonely. If I'm going to get a dog I'm only going to get a small one, like a maltese or a palpion. I have a full time job and I'll be in an MCAT class so I'll be studying a lot. ANyone have any recommendations and why? I love both animals and I'll more than likely devote at least a half hour of playing with it a day.

I have two dogs, one 10 pounds and one 25 pounds, and three cats who weigh 5, 10 and 14 pounds respectively. It's much cheaper to buy a box for the dogs and a box for the cats, rather than buy five individual vials to match each weight. Should I get the higher weight and put less on the smaller animals, or the lowest weight and put more on the bigger ones, or just shell out the $75???

The couple of months i been on here, it astounds me, that some people cant afford vets fees. Are they that expensive in the States? Here in U.K. i can take my 3 cats up, have 9 shots, heart, ears eyes and weight check for the price of £120.00p. (dont know what that is in U.S. dollars.)
Here in U.K. we do have the P.D.S.A. who give free treatment for those on income support.
So it got me thinking for those who got pets , why dont some vets in the states, do saving stamps or vouchers, so if anything should happen to pets, least they know they have them to fall back on,(i know some vets can be quite stubborn in instalments.) Anything could happen re life wise, suddenly loose job ect, Lot of people cant afford pet insurance, so what do you think about a voucher or saving stamp scheme at your vets, least your vet would know that you are saving for that "Just in case" syndrome.
What are your thoughts? (of course it would have to be properly vetted, excuse pun, so you dont get conned.)

He took Milly for her walk and they were attacked by two pit-bulls. He fought them for a full 30 minutes, tried to stop them attacking Milly but he was so badly injured he couldn't carry on. Milly was still alive when the police turned up but they had to shoot her because of her injuries, my friend is badly injured and has lost all use of his fingers on his writing hand, has broken and fractured fingers, almost lost one of his arms and will need plastic surgery to mend his many wounds. He feels so guilty because he couldn't save her but against two of them, what chance did he have? I'm collecting money to have her privately cremated and i don't for one minute expect any of you to contribute in that way but i am asking for one thing? Can you please tell me where the web-site is that does pet tributes so that i can write it on Millys headstone and her framed tribute that i'm doing.Thanks. Please don't post if ur gonna spout about how good pits are - i'm not in the mood - know what i mean

Yay! I just got the perfect pet rock! He has google eyes and I named him Oscar! But I need some help, I think I should get him a friend and name her Roxie. Also, what do they eat?? People say they eat nothing but I don't beileve that. His "house" is a plastic box, with plenty of rocks and water. So its like where a turtle would live. He also has his own pillow! (Spoiled little rock!!) I sound stupid but im not like 34 or something (no offense 34 year olds!!) so don't give me stupid answers. Um, oh how do you prevent dry skin because he really likes going outside in the cold air to play in the leaves. Also name some illnesses and how to cure them or prevent them....Also how do I keep the glue from coming off when he goes for a swim. Last, any videos on pet rocks? Thanks!
