is that all there is to a rabbit? eating, sleeping, and crapping?
do they like to do anything else, maybe an activity or an excercise? what can i do or get for my rabbit that would make it more interesting? do they play?

If you don't know that they play then you are quite obviously not letting it out of it's cage enough. Not to be rude but in all of my years keeping rabbits I've found that to be the plain honest truth.

Rabbits aren't like cats and dogs. They don't play or show affection like cats and dogs do. They DO play and show affection in their own bunny way though. Rabbit proof your house , hide all of the electrical cords and put up anything you don't want chewed and then just let your rabbit run for a while. Once he is comfortable in his environment he will likely be quite delightful to watch running, jumping and just generally enjoying himself. Wether or not he chooses to include you in his activities greatly depends on the individual rabbit. Try getting down on the floor with a book.. Many rabbits will decide that this is a great time to try to steal your book and hop all over you.

I had a rabbit, it died of myxomatosis 3 days ago :(. But if you buy a run in any pet shop or garden center it should be fine or if you don't want one then buy your rabbit some toys, bird toys are good but you can buy rabbit toys as well. Some times though my rabbit just found fun trying to play with me so i tickled her and played with her. it's really good exercise but DO NOT EVER buy your rabbit a leech it's cruel i asked my vet about it. hope this helped. p.s. rabbit toys can be just a large card board box with holes any where so your rabbit can get in and out at it's leisure.

if the vet said theres nothing to do then you cant blame yourself for that give it time, if she was just put down today you shouldnt be thinking of getting another one now as far as diet goes, that wasnt the best choice, rabbits shouldnt really be on a pellet diet to begin with they need different veggies and not so many carrots there are lots of sources about nutritional needs, but i doubt that caused your rabbits problems

i have a rabbit and she does lots of other things but she is young. it depends on how old ur rabbit is. if it is an old one than it is most likely to not be very active.try letting him/her out more often.let it explore the house. mine loves to see all the things in the house. also try making her/him a cardboard box house.make it big enough for ur rabbit to crawl through. they are also more active if their socialized. hold him/her often. if they get active enough try teaching it tricks such as standing on its hind legs. my rabbit can run up the stairs and go in her cage all at the cammand of "Go Home" try it

If that was all, there wouldn't be pet rabbits kept.

Check out the various 'house rabbit societies' for more info--

They do so much more, try having a look at http://www.the-pet-website.com - click on rabbits, then communication. Rabbits are really intelligent, but need stimulation from their owner..

Hi, I have 17 guineapigs. I think if you have one rabbit you should get a buddy of the same sex for him. You will find they wil talkto each other, look after each other and sometimes my pigs play games!

No, they can have a harness and you can go on a walk with them. You can also train them if you are dedicated.

Yeah they mate. Allow them to do that, man. Be prepared to handle increased population. They are notorious for multiplying in great numbers if only you allow them to do what they do *best*.
