If you still are looking for help:

You can take some of his pellets and mix with water, and mush them up. Get your bunny, wrap him in a towel and cradle him between your knees on his back. You are going to do this so he can't struggle and you can get some food into him. Scoop the mushy pellets up with your pinky and push into his mouth at the sides in small amounts at a time. A lot will get over his face but some will get in him. Monitor him very closely. If you have any Ovol (probably not, a gas medicine for babies) administer a small amount to him as well. You can also gently massage his belly to help him. He has GI Stasis and he does need to eat. The vet will probably give him some motility meds and ask for a syringe there and something called Critical Care, or some kind of high fibre food for him that you mix with water.

Here are some other links that might help.

Good luck.

Sweetie, relax. I know it's not fun having a sick pet, it's stressful and sad. But don't take it out on people who are trying to help, even if they are ignorant and don't read. :)

When was the last time he ate? Sounds like yesterday, so the person who said he'll be ok til tomorrow is right, I know it sucks and you don't want him to be hungry but it takes several days for a rodent to die from starvation, and almost that long until dehydration. Be more worried about the water, he'd REALLY need that sooner than food. Do you have a baby-sized spoon, or any sort of hollow rubber tube? Just rummage through a junk drawer or the garage, be creative and you should be able to find something to funnel some water into his mouth. Try not to worry so much, I know it's only natural but he WILL be fine 'til tomorrow. Even sick animals will eat at least a bite or two if it gets dangerous. He really doesn't need the food so much as the water.

If you can make the carrot puree, get a little ziplock baggie, put the puree in the bag, and seal it. Snip one corner and carefully feed your bunny slowly by squeezing the puree into its mouth. Oh, and get a towel. It might be a little messy.

If you have a baby bottle or know somebody who does have one use that. Or go to the store and buy one .. Thats how I use to feed my kittens after their mom died before I gave them to a foster home for kittens.. Good luck I hope your rabbit gets better.

if he ate or drank yesterday, he should be ok until tomorrow. do a "pinch" test.pinch his skin up between your finger and thumb, pull up and release. if it snaps back in place, he isn't dehydrated. if it slowly sinks back in place he is. don't try to feed him any food. for water, try holding a spoon of water up against his lips. if he takes it good, if not don't try to force him. forcing him can make him accidently inhale it. good luck :-)
