I've read and looked up everything there is to know about ferrets, and it seems that their stink problem can be resolved. Is that true?

I've never used this website/company-- and I looked online and saw that their prices are lower...and they also offer generic versions.
Has anyone used them and had good experiences? Is it safe to use the generic versions of Heartguard?
These are the items that tend to be expesive and I need more often.

Isn't this the company that Betty White endorses?? ; )

What was your most expensive vet visit for your pet?

It seems there are a lot of pet owners that don't think beyond the initial "purchase" of their new friend.

Okay the thing is my husband is in the army and is overseas and right now I am living on the base. However, the housing people are kicking everyone that are on my street out. I already have another house on reserve. however, my biggest issue is my oldest dog. He is very protective and he does not get along with strangers at all. My friend told me that if he bit anyone on the base, I and or my husband could go to jail for it.

I need some training help. What could I do as far as training him to be not so aggressive? I am afraid that once I do move into the new house, and when I take him outside he will be a big issue. And I dont want to end up having to put him down over this. I could never do that.

What can I do? What would you do? Please help me as I love my dog so much. I love him as though if he were my actual child. There has to be something I can do.

So many times we forget about our little "pocket pets" and they are so easily neglected.

Have you hugged your bunny today?

Not 'Freddie' though...

He is a golden tip (meaning his coat is light close to the body but charcoal on the outside).

Can anyone give me some advise with fleas.
I have just moved to a new apt less then a week ago...after i moved in the landlord decided to tell me that there use to be a flea problem but that they have changed the carpet and sprayed 2 times. Basically that everyone was fine now.

Anyway all 3 of my animals now have fleas and IM PISSED! Im going to buy flea medication today but is this even possible to still have fleas in the house with everything that has been done. (spraying, and carpet changing)
Im so descusted! I've never had a flea!

Ok, here's the story...

A skunk with rabies happened to be wandering around my cousin's backyard, so the skunk got into a fight with my cousin's dog. He ended up biting and clawing the dog and now he has a 99% chance of having rabies, but he's going to be quarrantined for 6 months to see if he 100% has it. What really makes me mad is now the Animal Control is picking on my cousin's kittens who were safe in the garage and weren't near the skunk, and now they're going to put all of the kittens and cat to sleep. They're not even going to allow for the kittens to be quarrintened. They already captured 3 out of 5 of the cats and they plan on putting them to sleep tommorow. Is there anyway me or my cousin could stop this inhumane act?! I would greatly appreciate any well thought out answers!

I just got two rats. Ive never owned a rat before. Somtimes they will just start scratching themselves like somthing has bit them. I know its normal for animals to scratch themselves. I have had dogs that have gotten fleas and they scratch themselves in the same way. They will act normal and then all of a sudden start scratching one spot repeatedly. Is it normal for a rat to do this ? They already have fidgety movements so is this how the itch themselves ? Is it possible for them to get any kind of bugs ?

I work at a christmas tree farm..and I was working the other day and this one goat was acting kinda funny...I mean she was eating and moving around...but she kinda kept her distant away from the other goats, and only went around them when food was involved...That and she was breathing a little harder then the other goats...I was just curious if I should be worried or not...
