No, the deer is killed and the penis is harvested. I used to know women like that in my singles days, but that was a long time ago.
Deer penis is of questionable value anyway. Barring a couple of tongue depressers and some duct tape, you might want to try one of two medications. Some impotent males report success with midixidud, and others prefer ibepoken. You might want to ask your doctor about those new medications before you set off. Much nicer than killing a deer.

Why go to China to get deer penis? You can go hunting in the Midwest and eat the rest of the deer as well.
A better aphrodisiac is to be healthy, fit, and confident.

The animal is killed, so it's not good for the deer.
Considering ALL the aphrodisiacs that are legit and proven to help work, why use folk medicine that pulls native animals out of the environment illegally?
These have all proven to have an effect on the human body--
Chocolate covered strawberries
Oysters
Red wine
Hot cinnamon buns/rolls
Hot pepper (the capsasian hotness opens the arteries and allows for better blood flow)
Be responsible. Don't go with heresay that only kills the native population of wildlife by encouraging poaching.

I can't see anything good about Chinese medicine harvesting all of those rare animal parts. I'm really fed up with the practice. Find something that doesn't involve hurting animals.
