I work at a christmas tree farm..and I was working the other day and this one goat was acting kinda funny...I mean she was eating and moving around...but she kinda kept her distant away from the other goats, and only went around them when food was involved...That and she was breathing a little harder then the other goats...I was just curious if I should be worried or not...

If she is a new goat to the herd she will keep her distance anyway. All the other goats will chase her and let her know who's boss for a while. If this is the case, you have nothing to worry about. BUT if the goats have access to the christmas trees it could be something else. Certain plants are poisionous to goats. The christmas trees could be. I do know they are poisionous to other animals. I have goats, horses and had pigs. The pigs somehow ate some of the evergreens close to their cage and died. Luckily none of the other animals have evergreens so close to their cage. I would just be careful what the goats get into and eat in general.

Is she pregnant?
I had a couple goats that would keep distance from other goats..those are usually the ones who are on the bottom of the pecking order. Other goats will butt at them just to show them who is boss. That's normal.
Heavy breathing isn't normal..unless she is pregnant and getting ready to kid.
I would ask someone about her
