My husband and I like to keep our temp at 60 during the day, and 50 at night, but I'm afraid that it will be too cold for the baby guinea pig I am getting. Any solutions? I don't want to turn the heat up just for a baby pig. :) arum

I've found a tiny fieldmouse living in-between the flower pots in my back garden. What should I leave outside for it to eat and drink?
Does it need some grass or hay to make a bed?
I don't want it to freeze especially now it has started snowing.
Where do you think it came from?

I have an arabian show horse, and he got lame recently. We took him to the vet a few times, and she couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. We even took him to a vet that specialized in horse lameness, and he gave my horse injections, and that didn't even fix it. He is just resting at a friend's house right now, and has been there for a few months. My parents told me he could possibly come to our house to live, because we have 5 acres in the country and could get the right setup for a horse. The problem is, if my horse is lame, I think I may get really tired of mucking his stall, feeding him, and generally taking care of him if I can't even ride him. Do you think I would get tired of doing all of that if I couldn't ride him? I could just basically walk on him. What do you think I should do?

Oh my gosh, my guinea pig's teeth had gotten too long, and today i looked at them to discover- her bottom teeth are completely missing! Her top teeth are still there, but this is my first guinea pig and I am afraid this is not normal! Will they grow back? Are they gone for good?

i went to check her water in her cage,
and she was upside down
so i shook the cage to see if she would move
and her legs did, so i took her cage to my mom
she said she could be dying or molting
she has a web all around her,
and she hasnt eaten in about two weeks
cuz the crickets still in there
what do i do
and how will i know if she comes out
or is just dead

My hamster stays in his wheel ALL the time and he never comes out.....He also sleeps in his wheel and when i take him out he is always running through my hands and squirming trying to get free...is this normal bcuz i just got him yesterday and if its not tell me what a have to do...

The chinchillas that I brought home today have an oder to them. It is pretty strong. I had heard that chinchillas do not have oder. Should I be worried that they are sick? They came with a plastic bottomed cage, and I really had to scrub it because of urine buildup. If it is the cage that stinks does anyone know how to get the smell out of the plastic. Anyways thanks in advance for any advise offered.

when i put my two hamster,one is a male,one female,in a play pen together,and they dont look like they are fighting,but the male will not stop going behind het tail!!!then when he goes some where else in the playpen,she just stands there she does nothing!!!what is he doing???Are they MATING????????????????????????????????????

My mom is out of the question, (She has 5 cats and 1 dog, to meany pets!) but my dad who has no pets may be convincable.
He said no beacause of thease reasons; there ugly long rats (He states this with humor and a smiling face) we have to wate till we get a house of our one, (Where renting a house, where not poor, where just renting a house) and heas pritty "ignorint" ( qoute "no and thats it plane and simple" or the classic " ummmm... let me think, no. (All are done with humor) I have read all about thim and know what to expect, so dont tell me "thay can be a hassle. Do more research." I need to know how to convince him! I love ferrets there so cute and look at thim in pet shops, so please, im despret!
