The Monarch won't fly, so I surrounded it with all the flowers in my garden and just stands there and stares at me.

I've been reading up on how to take care of Chinchillas.. and I understand that Chins should be fed a pellet for food... but it seems the only pellet food that my local pet store has bits of fruits or vegies in it... would that be okay? and about treats... what can they have, what can they not have, and how often could I give treats?

Oh and also in some vids I see people have put down soda boxes for their chins to play in.. and I was just wondering if its safe for them just incase they chew and swallow some of the cardboard?

Not domestic animals, the type you put in a circus (tigers, horses, ect). Please try and name as many diseases or health risks you can think of in as much detail is possible.

I just purchased 2 dwarf rabbits, They both stay in 1 reasonably sized cage. I would appreciate any input on taking care of them as far as food and getting sufficient exercise, lighting etc. As a novice all information and input would be appreciated. Thanks

He won't eat his carrot which he normally BEGS for- and he's making the noise of a bird's cooing. What does this mean for Teddy? :-(

i think i would be a flea.. purely because i could do role reversal and bite my dog instead of him biting me.. also i think it would be cool to jump 10x my own height.

I used to buy my supplies all from one online supplier,www.ferret.com, but they have tagged on a hefty fee that doubles my litter and food bill. I'm not willing to do that. I want the best for my ferrets, but I don't have money to throw away and with four of them we go through quite a bit of litter and food. I have found a few merchants out there that won't overcharge on shipping, though their prices are a bit higher. The nearest pet stores are 1 1/2 hours away from me and always have been more expensive, so online shopping was the smart choice so far. Where does everyone else shop for litter and food?

My roomate and I have agreed that we want an animal - something smaller than a cat but something furry. What's easy to keep hidden? Our dorm's pretty strict and we'd rather not get kicked out.

We wanted a sugar glider but they're expensive as hell. And they can't be smelly or loud! Any suggestions? (Keep in mind, we're working on a budget... no exotics, please, and we don't like birds.)

Thanks!

my rabbit's right eye wouldn't open last weekend, and today I noticed the same eye was bloodshot and a light gray-blue color (her normal eye color is dark brown). Does anyone know what this means or can help me? Please don't just say to go to a veternarian, because it's sunday, so no office is open. I'm really worried and would be glad for some explaination. thanks for your help- Sadie.
