I raise chickens because I enjoy looking at them. I buy chicken in the store because I don't have to pluck feathers, and they are meatier then mine.
Chicken meat is a cheap source of protein and taste great too.
It is ok to like chickens. If you have a pet chicken, it is ok to love it just like a dog or a cat.
