What prompted this question is I see so many people on here saying their cat or dog is sick and they cannot afford to take it to a vet - and yet they managed to afford a computer and the internet... I am saddened that people will let an animal suffer while they surf (or whatever)
SOOOOOooooo- suppose you had NO CASH - what whould you sell or give up in order to afford medical care for your pet?

He's been using a bowl since I got him last month & he was using a bowl in the pet store. My other Hamster was the same but started to use the bottle almost straight away when I put it in the cage.
I was just wondering what to do, he keeps messing up his water bowl, so I think a bottle would be best. but I don't want to give him the bottle, he doesn't know how to use it & then ends up going without water.
Do you think he'll just get used to it like my other one did?

I really don't understand why people even ask a question if they don't want to receive an honest answer, based in the information they've supplied!

Example:
My dog has had diarrhea and been vomiting, not eating or drinking for two days now, what should I do?

An honest and knowledgeable answer, according to the information supplied would be:

You need to take your dog to a vet, pronto! Your dog could be suffering from any number of problems, but only a vet can determine the exact cause.

Then you have someone reply to the question with an assinine answer:
Oh, it's probably something he ate. Just offer him some Pepto and wait a couple of days and see if he improves before spending any money!

So...they original questioner picks that answer as the "best answer" and says, "Thank you so much, I feel much better now. I was afraid that he was really sick and might die!"

Why even asked a question if you only want to read answers that make you "feel so much better"?

During the night my hamster has escaped, we think she has gone underneath the floor boards beacuse there are bite marks around a gap in the floor boards - if she has gone underneath the floor boards can she get back up?

ok... i'm so sad right now because i just gave away a rabbit (NOT those dwarf ones but the white with red eyes ones). the reason why is because i heard that they get pretty big like maybe cat size? i can't really afford to take care of a pretty big pet because i have bills to pay. so did i make the right decision to not keep the rabbit if it's true that these type of rabbits get pretty big? i hope someone here can tell me how big those these rabbits get i.e. compare it with other types of pets, how much they weight, how much they consume food-wise, etc. and if anybody knows when it starts to get big because right now it is still small, maybe a month ago i think? please can anyone help me? i feel really bad about my decision. if anyone can help i would appreciate greately!

Roosters or cocks let out long calls at specific intervals which are repeated by other roosters. Do they communicate? It starts very early in the morning and continues till afternoon. By late afternoon they stop and begin again next day sometimes at three in the morning.

I was in Windemere B.C. and I saw this Woodpecker hitting the tree with it's beak.
I don't understand how they do it without catching a headach.
