Proper answers pls as it is quite worrying. I got her in March and lately she's been plucking her feathers out, she gets bathed daily, she's been sprayed with mite spray, gets fresh fruit and cereal on a daily basis. she seems happy enough though.

My sister really wants a chinchilla for her b-day so my mom and i are going later to suprise her and get her one. My pet died last month and i really want a chinchilla too so my mom said on thursday she will buy me one. When we were looking at the chinchilla that my sister wants the other day i saw this cockatiel that was following me around. I really like it too. And the pet store said that they hand feed the birds when they are babies so they are used to humans. I told my mom about that and bcuz the chinchilla and the bird both cost $120.00 i could get either one. I cant make up my mind on which one to get. Please help!!

Everyday, we normally give them a mixture of apple, tomato, cucumber, and a little bit of lettuce. They love it, but does any body else have a recipe for some kind of food that is safe for a dwarf to eat???? My hammies love cheese, if you could include that.

We also have a guinea pig, if you have a recipe for a safe treat for him, ten points might be in it for ya.

When i say safe, i mean no foods in the recipe that may kill them!!!

My horse was driven into a barbed-wire fence yesterday and was tangled in it. He has a severe laceration to the top of his left front leg, just below the chest. The muscle doesn't APPEAR to have been ripped, and it is not bleeding really. I used hydrogen peroxide to clean it out and then vaseline to cover the wound last night, then this morning I covered the wound with a large bandage. He is limping severely and can hardly lift his leg, but when he was first freed from the fence he ran off with no apparent limp, so I think he's just sore. Should I sew him up? If so, what should I do to clean the wound before closing it up? Or, should I take him to a vet to have it done? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hey guys - I have a 17 year old mare that thinks she's still 4!!! Shes super fit and super fast - and a bit toooo keen on jumping! This mare pops 6 bar gates for fun in the field on her own! My question is - anyone had any similar horses - that were too ongoing into fences - and if so did you ever manage to slow them down - refusals are not in her nature and shes not stoney mad - just loves jumping!!!! She rushes fences whether they be 1 inch or 6 foot - Im an experienced rider, so please no silly answers on can I ride etc etc - I have schooled her, tried trainers advice, used placing poles, gotten other people to ride her, shes only fed barley and pulp as hard feed and nothing changes her. Shes been like this since she was 4 but due to her age now, Im trying to ease her up a bit!!!
Any ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks a mil!!
