I have a bigger shell but the crab isn't showing any signs of interest.

It may be molting or dying. Important thing to say is that one should never over handle their crab. Especially if their is a possible molt.

Another thing to ask is what is the temp and humidity of the tank???

It could be too hot and too dry. Or was molting and was disturbed and now will slowly die.

The temp must be between 76-82 degrees F and the humidity must be between 75%-85% relative and you need gauges to monitor that 24/7

Yeah, i grow to be your age after I did this myself. I took the crabs to a puppy save and they even helped me get salt water for the crab. The crabs died the very next day because the water grow to be no longer chilly adequate, the food wasn't what they were used to, and they merely went into marvel. in case you opt to take care of crabs, check out the crabs on the puppy save and ask what they are going to desire.

Do you have a larger shell for him to move into? That is a must or it will die.
