It follows the same mentality that is required to believe that beating your child will teach them a lesson, or that beating one's spouse is acceptable because their actions "made" you do it.
Any person who uses pyhsical violence, for any reason, is in serious need of psychological evaluation, and treatment.
I think they have some sort of superiority complex. Bully mentality. Abuse of something smaller, and incapable of defending itself proves your power.

Because they have no self respect so they are unable to respect anything or anyone else. They have a mental disorder, they can not comprehend what they're doing is wrong or that it hurts the animal. It's another form of bullying, only they're not brave enough to try it out on other people... until they turn into serial killers later.

i dont either. i love all animals and cant even image beating on one. i did a report on animal abuse not to long ago, and in one case( that i didnt out in the report, u'll c y,) a animal cop got tonz of calls on one report wit one person, he was sticking lit fireworks up the dogs rear and they would explode, killing or almost killing the animal. ppl who harm ne animals have somthing so wrong wit them that it make me so0o0o0o mad. i think they do it on thier animals cuz they cant say a word about it.

You aren't the only one who feels that way...Some idiots just don't understand that animals have feelings....they also feel pain just like we do....wonder how the'd feel if someone did those things to them.
All I can tell you is they are heartless, ignorant and should go chase a car on the highway..lol

They have no self worth so they must dominate something that cant defend itself inorder to feel powerful. Put them in a room with a pitbull and tell them to poke it with a stick.

these people are the real cowards ...they cannot relate to the real life stress and they use animals to de-stress...that's why when they abuse those poor animals, they will laugh and think it's funny... as it's their way to de-stress themselves... they are sick and need help !!

It's totally WRONG!! i hate the people that do that. they should get arrested and put in jail forever! that makes me so mad. the people that do that have something mentally wrong with them. they need help!
