Um give him something else. Maybe that is too spicy for him or soemthing. Give him some other normal ferret food (i've never heard of giving them duck soup). And leave the room. Sometimes animals dont like for people to bother them when they eat. If he wont eat anything for a day or two look at the way he is acting and see if hes sick. Sleeping too much? Etc. Call a petstore or call a vet and try to ask questions over the phone. It could be normal or maybe a problem.

For all of you who don't know what ferret ducky soup is, here's a short lesson: http://www.ferretfacts.com/k1dusoreimof.html .
It is very important that you get your fuzzy to accept and enjoy duck soup. It does take time for him to get used to it but then he won't be able to get enough. I've had a couple ferrets who wouldn't accept for awhile but now love it. Just dab some on his lips and let him lick it off. He'll take to it eventually, just stick with it even if it take weeks. Thank you for being a responsible ferret owner!!!! :)
Also, I would like to invite you to join the Everything Ferret forum: http://www.everythingfert.proboards36.com/ . It's a wonderful community of ferret lovers (who sure know what duck soup is!!!). Hope to see you there!

So sorry about your ferret, have you tried chicken soup? Animals are quite sensitive, and it may have detected certain strain of bird flu in your duck soup. If chicken soup doesn't help, maybe your ferret is a vegan...try vegetable soup.

My ferret would never eat his duck soup ever unless i put a little peanut butter in it. He absolutely loved it then. Worth a shot. Good luck!

try putting a dab of soup on his mouth. If that does work try a different type of food.

Spank him with a spatula, then kiss his feet. If that doesn't work.....mix some lemon juice in with the duck soup....he should eat it right up!
