I love them. They are so cute and mischievous. I have one (Jessie) that will almost come up to me and eat out of my hand. But I have found a lot of people are enemy of the squirrel. There doesn't seem to be any middle ground. People either love them or hate them. What have these adorable tree-rats ever done to deserve such hatred from some of you? Squirrels have feelings too! Stop running them over! Stop the maddness!

To my horror this morning, my hamster was limping and it looks like he ate his own foot.. No bleeding only bone sticking out. Being it is Sunday I cant get to my vet today. He is eating but I feel sooo awful as I don't know why this would happen. Anyone with any related issues please advise. I have already been told it may be a neurological issue.

Every year in October, dolphin drive hunts are conducted by small groups of Japanese fishermen. During the hunts, hundreds—sometimes thousands—of dolphins and other small cetaceans are herded into shallow bays, corralled into nets and brutally slaughtered.

More than 250 marine scientists and zoo and aquarium professionals have signed a statement saying that the hunts are an astonishingly cruel violation of any reasonable welfare standards, and should end immediately. Delegates from the group aim to meet with the Prime Minister of Japan to make him aware of the scientific and ethical basis for ending the hunts—and they need your support to do it.

I just got a hamster 2 days ago, I already have 1. Their in seperate cages but my new hamster has diarhea and I was wondering if it could be because of a change in his food or if he could be sick, besides the diarhea he's very active but likes to sleep alot. My mom found this baby wild rabbit out in our garden, and it's close to death. My dog had previously killed 3 of his littermates and, in all likeliness, scared the mother away permenantly. Is there any quick care I can offer him?

I tried to introduce him to my pet rabbit, who's about a month and a half from her last litter, but she ignored him as though he had already died. We don't have goat's milk or KMC kitten formula, which I read would be the best options, or any other animals that have had babies in the last YEAR, but my mom said I'm welcome to the evaporated milk. I don't know what to do. I've been trying to get him to drink water from a dropper, with little to no luck. Help!

Since yesterday, Felix was having trouble moving. he still had some energy, and would wander a little. but today he's hardly moving and won't eat. He is having trouble with his back legs and seems just wants to be left alone. He was fine the other day and getting into trouble as usual. I don't know what is wrong. and can not get him to the vet until next monday. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow to see if I can get credit. but I'm looking for someone to help, and give me some ideas on what i can do until then. does anyone know what could be the problem?
