It is impossible to have both--the pig will EAT your garden!

You can: eat pigs in the blaket, choose a pig in a poke. You can eat like a pig (pig out) and become stuffed as a pig. A man can be a male chauvinist pig. A person can be as greedy as a pig.

You can live in a pigsty or a pig pen, if you're as messy a a pig. You can sweat like a pig, smell like a pig, act like a pig or eat like a pig.

You can exaggerate as a pig's eye. A snitch will squeel like a pig to a pig. You can dress as plain as a pig when you shop at the Piggly Wiggly.

You can read a book with content as dead as a pig in sunshine. Your well planned event can go slicker than a greased pig.

You can sing War Pigs, March of the Pig, Piggies or Song of Pig. You can listen to Pigface. You can read Three Little Pigs, Pigs is Pigs.

There's pig iron, guinea pigs, and Pig olympics You can speak Pig Latin. And then, there's the Chinese zodiac sign of the pig.

And you'll only pick my reply when pigs fly!

But you CANNOT have a pig in the garden!!!!!

There was a big article about a Walgreens relitive here in Illinois that had 3 pigs in her back yard. The neighbors are fighting for her to get rid of them. So my answer is it all depends on your neighbors and the odor.

I'd be more concerned about keeping the pig in the yard. Period.

They are big, strong animals and you practically need concrete fences to keep them in.

Find out a bit on enclosures for pigs first.

you're joking touching directly to the pigs and dirt and stuff, top??? Who owns the hill in the back of your backyard?? the owner ought to be held to blame for flooding your assets. you are able to have a suitable swale (or 2) with a view to divert the rain out of your backyard. Rain needs to flow someplace different than somebody's backyard. you do no longer say no rely in case you have around the corner neighbours. i'm specific they does no longer be happy in case you saved pigs on your backyard. I doubt in case you placed a ton of gravel on the backyard till now you get pigs. they do in comparison to gravel. to boot, a metric ton of gravel isn't a good purchase. The pigs actually won't consume gravel. Who would??? i think of you're trolling. Get a existence.

Unless your area is zoned as rural, you probably need to check with you local codes as to the keeping of farm animals on your property. Especially if you have neighbors that would object, because they WILL notice and report it!

Most communities have laws regarding farm animals in incorporated areas. So you need to check that out. Don't know if your neighbors would appreciate it at any way.
