I was wondering if I should get an indoor bunny hutch, or a nice, big regular bunny cage. I want to keep those two inside now, and I'm not sure what the best one is, help!!

Last night when i let my dog out, i saw a baby bird that fell out of its nest. It looked about 1 day old.
Then today my gramma found 3 more that fell out of the same nest.
Should we leave them alone since the momma bird seemed to be taking care of the first one, or should we call Animal Controll, and have them see what to do???

Hello~
We are planing to open up a pet store in Northren CA. by the end of Nov. 2006 . The store's name will be " PET BARN" We need help with a slogan for it. You know like Petco's is " Where the Pets go." We would like something cute and catchy. Something people would remember.

As far as the store is concerned. We are building the store as we speak. It is built just like the red old-fashion barns with the round roofs. Inside we will have wood floors ( not real wood) and the only idea that we also have is the " Horse stall" will be the fish room. It will be very dark. The only lights on will be from the tanks. We would like some great ideas from you good folks! We will not be selling dogs or cats ( No respectable store in CA. will). But other than that we will be selling small birds, small animals (hamsters, rabbits etc.) reptiles and fresh and saltwater fish. And supplies and food. Please give me detailed ideas on how you would design it. Any other ideas would be great

Yet we'd never consider doing it with, say, Grandpa. Perhaps the animals would prefer to live no matter how great the pain! Do we perhaps simply not want to see their pain? I'm really serious. I read a question and it got me thinking about this.

I know that many--not all--people want to hang on as long as possible. So what makes us think our animals don't?

(I don't mean wild animals, though. Clearly, a badly injured wild animal can't even feed itself.)

I'm totally against it and support animal rights and i'm with a few anti vivisection orginasations. I do not understand why they test on poor innocent defencless animals no matter what the reason is. How can they say if something is fine for the animal its fine for humans we don't have the same genetics. surely it would make more sense and probebly reduce crime if they tested on pedophiles, murders, rapists, child abusers etc. and at the end of the day who gave humans the right to experiment on these poor animals.

I have a cat but would a more exotic pet like a chimp or a bonobo (mini chimp). I am a little unsure about all of the laws and need an easy way to under stand them. My heart is not set on getting a chimp because just about any out of the ordanary pet will work as long as it is leagal.

I have a ferret that is bobbing his head around alot and doesn't walk strait. He even falls over on his side for no reason. He's eating and drinking his water great, but has a hard time keeping his head still to sip from his water dispenser. Could he be blind?
