Bunnies really like to have toys and things to chew on. Right now he's so little he doesn't know what is right to chew on and what isn't right. He is just a baby and you have to teach him how to act. If he bites you simply say 'no' in a loud firm voice. If he does it again, thump his ear once and say 'no' again! You have to thump immediately after the biting or he won't have a clue why you're doing it though. Then, just act normal. You don't get to stay mad at him. If he nips at you again, then just repeat the process. It's a lot easier if he learns now not to bite when he's little than when he's big.

It depends on how its biting you. It may bite because its not used to being handled, if its a light nibble it may want to play. If you're petting it at the time you could have hit an itchy spot. Any number of reasons. You don't say at what time it bites, that makes all the difference. Not all bites and nibbles are bad.

bunnies will nibble at you fingers if they smell like food. If you are kind to him he will not become mean toward you. Always be gentle and kind. Make sure he is always safe and has plenty of clean water and food. Wash you hands before you handle him. Encourage him to eat carrots and other foods away from your fingers and not nibble on you.

I had a rabit who did the same thing he bit me hard enough once to make me bleed. I never took him out of the cage again. one day he escaped and got chased by a dog and had a stroke. he was paralized on one side. since i lived in a rural setting there was only one thing to do. I shot him in the head. Moral of the story. Get rid of that rabit now.

Your bunnie might just want to play more, so play with him and yet him go outside more. Just spend a lot of time with him. Let him get to know you.

Don't be scared dear just whenever he does that talk to him and say thats very bad and tap him on the nose. And let him out a little more, and every thing will be fine. It works for mine.

If he continues it might be wise to get him fixed. One of my breeder rabbits do that and he'll molest anything he can get his paws onto, especially my 20 year old cousin's hand.
